Keyboard Warriors, Everywhere.

Before we start I would like to point out I know this is not a medical forum or that advice here should be taken over doctors advice. I am looking for people who have had a similar experience more than anything. Okay so the down low is this. Three months ago I dislocated my shoulder by falling over backwards and catching my weight on my one arm, it popped out of place and damaged some of the muscles (apparently), at the time it was very painful and made even worse by the fact I had to wait in AE for 12 hours Eventually it was sorted out and put in a sling for two weeks. I have since had physiotherapy and it has done nothing but make it worse perhaps, I get pain pretty much all the time, though it's mostly moderate, the movement is limited and carrying heavy stuff is a no-no. I also get alot of pain in the upper arm that was not x-rayed at all. The physiotherapist told me if that doesn't work I would have to seriously consider surgery to avoid future problems, however from what I have read up it seems to be a big recovery period with alot of painful / restless nights and heavy painkillers, I am nervous about going down that route but I don't know what else to do, anyone else ever had it done? |

Keyboard Warrior 1. A Person who, being unable to express his anger through physical violence (owning to their physical weakness, lack of bravery and/or conviction in real life), instead manifests said emotions through the text-based medium of the internet, usually in the form of aggressive writing that the Keyboard Warrior would not (for reasons previously mentioned) be able to give form to in real life. 2. Keyboard Warriors are generally identified by unneccessary rage in their written communications, and are regarded as 'losers' by other virtual identities on the internet. | |

I haven't had shoulder surgery before but my uncle and grandma have. From what they report, it is very painful and recovery time is quite long but in the long run the pain you are experiencing now will be reduced significantly. With an injury like that, sometimes time alone just can't get the job done and surgery is required. I definitely suggest you speak with your doctor about if it will be needed or not. Maybe even get a second opinion. |

Everyone I've known who has severely dislocated their shoulder has ended up having shoulder surgery. It's a long recovery process, but it's pretty much the only thing that will permanently solve your problem. |

My brother had shoulder surgery. His shoulder still sucks but it's better than it was. |
