My Dear Melancholy,

I've heard mothers(some dads) talk about dropping their child. They seem to be a saying that everyone parent has dropped their baby once. Is this true? Those with kids or babysits babies and you're confirmable sharing...have you dropped a baby before?

It's easy to drop something that's more or less a sack of flesh and bones and can't do anything for itself. It'll roll and maneuver right out of your arms and next thing you know it'll be on the floor bawling for the next five hours.

It's an endless cycle. People who were dropped as babies are 33% more likely to drop their own babies due to brain damage.

I was dropped multiple times. I've vowed never to hold a baby.

I think its in the person. I never dropped my kid, just the same as I've never dropped my phone and smashed the screen like 50% of people I know have.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I dropped my sister when she was a baby. Although to be fair, I was only 9. I felt bad though, worried that it was going to seriously hurt her. She was fine though, and she's fine now, so it couldn't have been too big a drop.

Keyboard Warriors, Everywhere.

Accidents happen, but some people are pretty careless

Keyboard Warrior

1. A Person who, being unable to express his anger through physical violence (owning to their physical weakness, lack of bravery and/or conviction in real life), instead manifests said emotions through the text-based medium of the internet, usually in the form of aggressive writing that the Keyboard Warrior would not (for reasons previously mentioned) be able to give form to in real life.

2. Keyboard Warriors are generally identified by unneccessary rage in their written communications, and are regarded as 'losers' by other virtual identities on the internet.
