It's the GOAT DBZ Game ...Only BT2 came close for me. The game just about everything right.

I'm, of course, talking about...... Budokai Tenkaichi 3......

Nah, it's Budokai 3.

Anyways, it improved the fighting mechanics from the two games to the point where it was just not a good DBZ game but a good fighter period, the single-player campaign was cool and had very high replay value, the graphics were cell-shaded eye candy, and the Dragon Arena was test of skill.

Let's give the game a round of applause for it set a benchmark that no other has surpassed.

I dunno. I think I enjoy other DBZ games more.

Yeah, the GBA RPGS completely wreck the fighters.

Is it bad that I still haven't played this game yet? Man I wish I still had my PS2...or even a PS3 for the HD version... :(

Budokai 2 & 3, Tenkaichi 2 & 3, LoG 2, Buu's Fury, and Supersonic Warriors are my favorite games in the franchise. If I had to pick one though, I would choose BT3. A Tenkaichi game with the roster & gameplay of BT3 and the story & soundtrack of BT2 would be the best DBZ game of all time IMO.

DBZ Bt3 is still absolutely awesome It clearly beats Xenoverse in terms of fighting and sequential combos.

Honestly it didn't take much for it to get old for me. I like RB2 better as a multiplayer experience, but this game has RB2 beat in the single player department.

I'm of the unpopular opinion that Budokai 3 is overrated as balls. A lot of the punches and kicks are completely recycled, Dragon Rush is BS, grinding for skills and characters is BS, and the big combos in the game really just consist of bouncing your opponent into the air repeatedly and just looks really dumb.

I never liked the RB games TBH. The controls were just confusing and I got bored playing the demo. On that note, I find just about every post BT3 game pretty boring. Not sure about Xenoverse though.

Yeah. I played the demo and just got bored of it quickly. Controls confused me and the presentation of the game was just meh.

I think Namco should just release an HD Remaster of Budokai Tenkaichi like they did with Budokai. The Remaster can have BT2 and BT3 in them as they both accommodate each other very well (BT2 for story and music and BT3 for roster and gameplay).

I'll take BT3 over that game anyday, it felt like real DBZ. Budokai 3 had too many limits.
