Ben Affleck defends Islam against Sam Harris labeling Islami as the mother load of bad ideas. Then Richard Dawkins Responds to Ben Affleck.

How is this promotion, exactly?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Keyboard Warriors, Everywhere.

Never even seen any promotion from him so no

Keyboard Warrior

1. A Person who, being unable to express his anger through physical violence (owning to their physical weakness, lack of bravery and/or conviction in real life), instead manifests said emotions through the text-based medium of the internet, usually in the form of aggressive writing that the Keyboard Warrior would not (for reasons previously mentioned) be able to give form to in real life.

2. Keyboard Warriors are generally identified by unneccessary rage in their written communications, and are regarded as 'losers' by other virtual identities on the internet.

Props to Affleck, that was pretty cool of him defending Muslims.
But I have no idea how that's promotion.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I kind of doubt he needs to promote one of the most anticipated movies of the decade...

Because of what Dawkins said "The Ben Affleck, who I didn't know, but I understand he's Batman"

Why would he say that?

Because he's in the Batman movie. They're referencing his latest role. It's not exactly him promoting the new movie, certainly more subtle than most promotions if it is one.

Then that's Richard Dawkins promotion it, not Ben Affleck?

Isn't this Richard Dawkins promoting Batman vs Superman, and not Ben Affleck?

Off topic, but Ben Affleck is awesome for defending Islam againt Bill Maher's and Sam Harris's hate.

Why would he say that?
Because Richard Dawkins has no idea who Ben Affleck is, but has been made aware—probably because he asked someone—that he's an actor playing Batman. Dawkins would have no interest in promoting a comic book film, and was merely talking about a recent event involving Sam Harris.

It appears Ben Affleck is indeed trying to promote the film a little too much. He wouldn't be there making a fool of himself if it weren't for contractual promotional ties.
