My Dear Melancholy,

Was gonna put it in the forum discussion but felt "Anything" was more appropriate.

When you create a topic. Do you write out your thoughts and words and then create the topic title? Or do you write the topic title first and then proceed your thoughts and words. I usually write my thoughts out and then label them once I finished.

Title first. My goal is usually to make a topic for the sake of making a topic. I don't think I've ever made one with the intention of expressing some thought or idea.

Edit
I probably shouldn't have revealed that so early in my forum career here.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I start with the title. As long as the title gives you an idea of what the topic is about, I don't think it matters too much. So I just try and write something that gives the general gist of things, then flesh it out with the original post.

"Next time?"
"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."
