Why can't have Super's story take place after BoG?

Self explanatory title.
For example, I'd rather we only had like 40 or even 30 episodes of Super that took place after BoG along with a time skip maybe after RoF.
And it would be nice if the episodes were done in a similar fashion as the movies (animation wise) instead of a cheap, quick one.
But of course the production companies need to make as much material as possible for profit.

Honestly I have no idea, maybe it's just laziness or maybe Toriyama wants to change some things he wasn't satisfied with, but honestly I think taking place after FnF or BoG would be the best move. Not like everyone needed to know the backstory of Piccolo and stuff to enjoy Z either.

Once the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F adaptation arcs are done, the story WILL keep going with the "other universes" elements. In the meantime, I guess there's some things that Toriyama and/or Toei wanted to do differently from the movies.

Super is doing some things to better link BoG and RoF already. Like making Goku's body act without his thinking, or having Gotenks be the first one (other than Boo) to attack Beerus. The latter fits in with RoF's reasoning for not letting the kids come, while in the original BoG it was Piccolo, #18 and Tien who attacked Beerus first, so they proved themselves to be way more hasty at starting fights than Gotenks, yet two of them were allowed to come to fight Freeza.

Izanagi!

Didn't Gotenks or Beerus comment that his body had stopped moving before hitting Beerus as well?
