How good is your memory and fast does your brain detect certain patterns?

VERY bad and weird memory. I remember my first toy but I don't remember what I ate yesterday.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Keyboard Warriors, Everywhere.

Long term memory is great, but my short term memory is shocking, as well as my concentration

Keyboard Warrior

1. A Person who, being unable to express his anger through physical violence (owning to their physical weakness, lack of bravery and/or conviction in real life), instead manifests said emotions through the text-based medium of the internet, usually in the form of aggressive writing that the Keyboard Warrior would not (for reasons previously mentioned) be able to give form to in real life.

2. Keyboard Warriors are generally identified by unneccessary rage in their written communications, and are regarded as 'losers' by other virtual identities on the internet.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I have a pretty decent long-term memory, although it is getting a little worse (but hey, that's probably what getting older is). I can remember quite a hefty chunk of my life, with my earliest memories being around 3 years old. It's weird how sometimes insignificant memories stay with you, like my earliest memory is keeping a glass of orange juice in my room and taking a drink from it every day to see how long it would still taste nice (I think I got to about 5 days before I threw it away). I also remember dreams I had at a young age.

My short-term memory isn't so good. I can sometimes have issues remembering what day I did something a week or two ago (although I always end up remembering it, it just takes a few moments). I think a lot of that is down to my life being pretty boring at the moment, so most days seem to flow into the other (depressing, I know).

"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."

short-term memory in humans is s***ty in general, at least in terms of modern living w/ the amount of s*** we have to remember these days. my first shift at this new job is on tuesday and i spent 10 minutes looking at the rota, but I've already forgotten what time i'm supposed to go in already...............
