Keyboard Warriors, Everywhere.

Okay guys. Bare with me while I explain a few things. Now first of all I have a fair amount of education in the science field and a rather large amount of education in Religious studies / philosophy etc. This theory (here it is in it's most basic form) has been on my mind for a while along with a few others, I am not looking too disprove / prove anything with it nor am I looking too slander anyone else's beliefs with it. My reasoning behind this is simple logic and the fact that the universe is unimaginably complex, that coupled with the fact of the possibility of multiple realities, dimensions and universes means that life / death may not be as straight forward as we think. Also take into account that out of all possibilities when we die, this is just ONE of them, heaven / hell is just ONE of them, so on, so forth. The idea was quite difficult too word correctly and in a way that most people could understand so I have done my best and I can't really explain it much better. http://i.imgur.com/Kj9JM24.png Thoughts? P.S if the link does not work then tell me. Edit: This is the very most basic form I could make : http://i.imgur.com/KPTMSNb.png Edited by Samantha, Aug 23 2015, 04:47 PM.

Keyboard Warrior 1. A Person who, being unable to express his anger through physical violence (owning to their physical weakness, lack of bravery and/or conviction in real life), instead manifests said emotions through the text-based medium of the internet, usually in the form of aggressive writing that the Keyboard Warrior would not (for reasons previously mentioned) be able to give form to in real life. 2. Keyboard Warriors are generally identified by unneccessary rage in their written communications, and are regarded as 'losers' by other virtual identities on the internet.

I like how first it says consciousness is nothing more then neurons firing in sequences and then it suddenly says it's logically possible for your consciousness to flow over into another body. I'm not interested in theories that suggest I'll never really die or go away, our brains are biased to think death isn't a thing. |

I'm sorry but you quite clearly didn't write what was written / understand it, which is fine I also said at the start it is not about proving / disproving, this is totally from a logical point of view and could very easily be wrong. I also said that consciousness ''switches on'' in the brain when someone is conceived / born etc and ''NOTHING'' crosses over. Read before you criticize, thank you. |

you say we become conscious in another body. So yes, your consciousness somehow flows over into another body. It doesn't matter how you describe it, that is what you're suggesting. |

Why are you asking for thoughts on something and then responding to somebody's thoughts on the matter with "you're wrong, you misunderstood, I'm ignoring you"? |
|
"Then you've got the chance to do better next time." "Next time?" "Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."

I find this rude. You're basically saying you don't value someones opinion for whatever reason to their face. You don't even give a reason, you just say that they aren't worth your time. Because you're dismissing one person entirely with a at the end of it, and condescending that someone might know more about something than you, why would anyone else respond if they have the potential to be treated in the same manner?Don't make this thread again unless you're willing to listen to arguments from everyone and from any side, not just the one that agrees with your theory. |
