My Dear Melancholy,

Listings for the first few batches of a Dragon Ball Super home release have begun to appear on Amazon Japan. Toei and Happinet will release the series in DVD and Blu-ray box sets of 12 episodes each, with the first set dropping 02 December 2015 (episodes 1-12) and the second set dropping 02 March 2016 (episodes 13-24). In addition to a special booklet and box with a new illustration, on-disc extras will include a creditless opening and ending.

This all but confirm both Sagas will be 12 episodes (though RoF could easily be 3-5). Which doing the calculation means RoF will start either October or Mid September. And end in late December. Meaning no new content until January :( . That's a long time...

I would be buying the collector edition for the extra footage and interviews.

If the content is going to be this small in size, then price point is going to be a big determining factor for me. I think the conversion from Yen to USD was about $12-14 per set. We'll have to wait and see what they get priced as when they come to the states.

Neither. I'm buying the Dragon Ball Manga. That's all I need.

I hear the Super Manga is a lot better than the Anime, so you guys should probably buy that instead.
