Do you think Budokai 3 aged well?

Yeah, it's that kind of topic.

Most people would agree that the first two games haven't exactly aged the best but what about the third one?

When it first came out it was met generally positive reviews (currently holding the highest critical rating on metacritic). It was a (surprisingly) huge improvement over the first two and it was officially the first game to transcend the "Strictly for Fans" Label... but of course, there are some mad haters (and a particular one comes to mind). Does it still hold up in your eyes?

Anyways this might be the huge Budokai fan in me speaking but it has aged well for me. Of course age has revealed a few flaws (Dragon Rush and Hyper Mode) especially when compared to Shin Budokai and Infinite World which does certain things A LOT better, but B3 is still a blast to play today like it was when I first got it. In fact, it might a little better than I remembered it being more appreciative and knowledgeable on fighting games in general.

Not at all. The unlocking still makes me want to tear my hair out(this is why I can't stand many RPGs), the fighting is about as unfaithful to DBZ as one can get(let's be almost entirely bound to the ground), and animations are recycled all over the place.

It's my 3rd favorite DBZ Game so it aged with me well.

Most people consider it one of the best Dragon Ball Z for reasons:
-It came out amazing.
-Had the most characters of it's time.
-The graphics were sublime, and captured the essence of the manga.
-First time(?) GT characters were in a Good Game(They were in Final Bout, which was horrible)
-The Gameplay was fast paced and was technical.
-Dragon World.
-When you have games like Battle of Z or ultimate tenkaichi, Budokai 3 still stands tall.

Overall, I say yes.
