Aside from Frieza since he was in a hell accustomed for himself, is it safe to say that the deceased villians of Dragonball train in the afterlife? Villians shouldn't really have their bodies in the afterlife but Goku and Pikkons fight with them says otherwise. Also, the villians have their bodies when watching Goku fight Kid Buu. Not sure if we saw them in their 'bodies' for the sake of identification or they really have bodies. If they don't train, do they at least have the ability to? Wasn't that just because that whole realm was getting bent by Janemba and everything was going out of whack? Vegeta (whom went to Hell) even expressed shock that he suddenly had his body again.
Anime filler. |

So your saying Janemba, the non-canon movie villain, had indirectly affected the show at that point in time? Pikkon fighting the villians happened in the show and not Fusion Reborn in case you were wondering. Edited by OmegaMagnusDA, Aug 15 2015, 07:59 PM.

Villains can't train in Hell because they don't keep their bodies. Their abilities consist of floating around as a cloud. Edited by Slifer, Aug 15 2015, 08:16 PM.

If the manga is to be believed then villains don't keep their bodies period. If RoF is to be believed, villains don't get to actually use their bodies in hell (there's also the theory that we only saw Freeza in a physical form so the audience would know who he is, rather than a random fluffy cloud). |

Anytime you see a DBZ character in hell, you should be able to go ahead and assume it's a filler you're watching, which hasn't anything to do with the original manga. Can villains train in hell? No, unless they're able to keep their bodies, as Goku did. I'm sure it's possible to keep your body for hell, you just gotta know how to find that deal. If we go by anime filler than it's stated that they can train in hell, since Freeza and Cell did so in GT for their rematch vs Goku. |

I think even the anime isn't consistent with its portrayal of dead villains. |

I remember the first depiction of Hell in the anime. It was the best place in the world. They had a nice little fountain, wide open space, you could even ride at the amusement park. Now admittedly I was watching the English Dub so I don't know if the original had some "Insane Souls Riding on the Carts of Evil Final Destination Style" line or something but from what I saw...it was pretty nice. Then around the Boo Arc I think you know, apparently the bag guys had to stop having fun. They took away the amusement park, I'm unsure if the fountain was there anymore and I think there was quite a bit of spikes added though I'm unsure of if I'm just not remembering those in the filler episode when Goku fell off Snakeway. But it was still open space, you could move around, talk and let's be honest even with that. Do you really want to go Heaven and talk with Princess Dabura? No you don't don't and Heaven wasn't winning any awards with its features. In fact the way I see it. Former Filler Hell>>Later Filler Hell>Filler Heaven>Most likely wherever your living that's currently being f***ed up by Goku and friends~A Black Hole. |
