I don't know if he occasionally look over Goku adventures from the other world or even (re)met Goku during the 7 year time skip. Example: Gohan reads his dirty books as he sits in boredom. His nose drips of blood hinting he's turnt on by the book. As he rubs his forehead he looks up. "I wonder what old man Roshi is up too. I hope he trained Goku to be an excellent fighter". Gohan said in a soft tone. He looks over and see Baba's crystal ball. In curiosity he runs to it and look into the ball. "Now now how did Baba make things appear here? Her hands went like this right?" Gohan said as he tries to mimic Baba's hand movements. Gohan picture an old Goku in his head. His sweats as he focus really hard on the manner. Suddenly the ball appear cloudy and an image of a beaten up Goku standing over a scared little boy frozen in fear. Goku looks at a white purple lizard monster shouting "How.... how... how. .DARE YOU! Krillin can't come back!". Gohan sees how his grandson is completely different than what he remembers. "Goku...full of rage? I never seen him angry.. and why does his hair switches from black and blonde?". Suddenly Baba's hand touches Gohan's shoulder. "You have a lot to learn. I'll tell you everything".
