Lie to Me

loved that s***
what made it even better was that I coincidentally had a massive academical boner for the psychologist the show's concept was based on and was citing him in a lot of my uni essays during that time

The Lord of the Dark

Samurai Jack and Gargoyles. One never got a proper ending and had a pretty weak final episode, the other suffered from a horrid and vomiting 3rd season. But I'd rather not talk about that.

Also, some of the 2000s animated Marvel shows were great yet got cancelled and replaced by Disney abominations. Spectacular Spider-Man forever will be the best Spidey adaptation that not only treated the source material with a ton of respect but also made a few changes for the best, especially Electro and Eddie Brock. Its replacement? Ultimate Spider-Man, so far, the biggest piece of trash in animated media when it comes to superheroes. But wait, there's more. During the same time as Spectacular Spidey was on, there was Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. That show wasn't really as great but was still pretty dang good, since it was really corny most of the time, and there was a ton of annoying characters. Its replacement? Avengers Assemble. The least said the better.

There's also that new Hulk show no one cares about, and that will be forgotten in no time. Like seriously, how do they manage to make something worse than the 60s Hulk show? The 80s and 90s Hulk cartoons were far better than that piece of trash. For one thing, they actually tried.

I would also like to say Futurama, but I've heard it's on TV again. I could also say Batman Beyond but I don't care about that show, or anything Batman-related. Only one Batman show got a perfect definitive ending and it's for some reason the most hated Batman incarnation called "The Batman".

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Batman Beyond. Ended way too soon.
Yes.
Many times this.

The Incredible Hulk cartoon as well it was awesome.

Heroes is a definite though it's getting a miniseries at least, I wonder if it's to finish it off or to test the waters and try set up another season...
Think it's pretty dead though to be honest.

Off topic but...why is Firefly so loved? I've watched it a few times and I just don't get what's so good about it, can't even remember it none of really stuck with me.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I think it's become overrated. It's almost become the 'cool' answer to give. That being said, I did enjoy it.

Emmeth mentioned it earlier, but I really like Freaks & Geeks. Would have liked to see some more seasons of that.

Man, Gargoyles was the s***, but it went off the deep end with the last season. Solid concept, poor execution.

I agree with Mitas' first point that it's become the in thing to like. I've never personally watched an entire episode, but it never struck me as gold the same way Buffy and Angel did.

Don't really have a favourite, but I quite liked Spider-Man Unlimited and that ended on a cliffhanger.

Woah. :o_O:
You're like one of 10 people on this Universe that liked that show. It really, REALLY sucked(it didn't, though). But I agree, that cliffhanger was crap.

Make that 11, as I also liked Spider-Man Unlimited A LOT, even more than the annoyingly cheekbone designed Spider-Man: TAS. :p

Here are my conclusions for "Destiny Unleashed" from 7 years ago:

Episode 14: http://nivlugassiarts.blogspot.co.il/2010/08/spider-man-unlimited-destiny-unleashed.html
Episode 15: http://nivlugassiarts.blogspot.co.il/2010/08/spider-man-unlimited-destiny-unleashed_10.html

Here are the official Season 2 episode synopsis for "Spider-Man Unlimited" where Spidey was planned to have some interesting plots: https://tvwriter.net/animation/animation-spiderman-unlimited/spider-man-unlimited-second-season-arc/

Rome is probably at the top of my list. I also enjoyed the newer Twilight Zone hosted by Forest Whitatker, not as good as the original of course but still had a charm to it.

I still dream that it continued sometimes and that there was resolution to its plots following season 2
