Chrome Favourite Manga Dragonball	to clarify I mean base Super Buu, as in without Gotenks or Gohan, second: I am in no way referring to the Kid Buu vs. Super Buu, Ultimate Gohan vs SSJ3 Goku or any other of those endless PL debates, but I believe this one can be settled easily. I believe SSJ3 Goku to be stronger than Super Buu, my evidence comes from episode #267 with two statements from Goku. When Goku was fighting Super Buu (Gotenks absorbed) at SSJ3 he was outclassed, not completely but he was losing bad. But when Gotenks fusion ran out and Super Buu reverted to his form using Piccolo, Goku stated: "You don't plan to beat me like that, do you?", keyword there being 'ME', not Gohan, not 'us', but HIM. I understand characters can be satirical on occasions and not be serious or say things to toy with their enemies, but I believe Goku was %100 serious here. Super Buu here STILL has the power of two Super Saiyans AND Piccolo who is stronger than a SSJ, so his power should still be way ahead of his base Super Buu form, yet it is still implied that Goku is stronger. Ie: Goku is way ahead of base Super Buu Secondly Goku stated: "Hes lost over one third of his power". Now I don't need this piece of evidence too prove my point but its here anyways. This roughly shows the power gap between him and Super Buu. Of course my evidence isn't definitive, but its enough to point to the direction of the most logical conclusion which is that Goku is more powerful than base Super Buu. Opinions?

Your entire evidence comes from anime filler and dub lines. That doesn't work as it isn't considered canon, I'm afraid. Otherwise Yamcha would be Perfect Cell-tier based on him trashing Olibu and another fighter at the same time. Super Boo > SSJ2 Gotenks > SSJ Gotenks > Base Gotenks post > SSJ Gotenks pre > SSJ3 Goku is a lot better. Edited by Slifer, Aug 9 2015, 09:44 PM.

This ace lives and breathes the manga, nothing else matters. Anime has filler lines and content created by Toei Animation writers.

I've gone down this road before and extensively looked at each piece of evidence, there isn't enough to justify this claim.

Even if you take that one line seriously, there are ways to justify the claim And to answer your inquiry, no. He can't beat Super Boo.

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Dragon Ball Z	Well, later inside Super Boo Kakarrot tells Vegeta that Super Boo can kill them even after freeing everyone else and their only chance at winning was Fusion, so that's another huge gaping hole. Goku: "You ran out of time! Too bad for you! Boo, you power has dropped quite a bit!" Gohan finds the lost Potara Earring. Gohan: "Here it is! Father! Th-this is Kaioshin-sama's, right? What was I supposed to do with it again?" Goku: "That's a bit disappointing. With you like this now, Gohan can beat you without going to the trouble of combining with me!" Seems very clear what this means.
