Did Gohan win the Cell-Games?

I mean unofficially officially. Officially the world obviously thinks Mr. Satan won the Cell-Games, but we all know it's not real.

Gohan is the real winner, but is he? Cell died, that was never the condition to win, in-fact it was to throw him out of the ring, like the Tenkaichi-Budokai. The ring was destroyed in the Goku vs Cell fight, does that mean the tournament ended then?

I think:

Official Winner - Mr. Satan

Real Winner - Gohan

The tournament was still on after the ring was destroyed. It's just that cell didnt want to be confined to such a small area anymore

Now that I remember Cell, before blowing-up did say it was going to end a draw, but then he came back & got killed.

So yeah, I'm not sure.

Gohan did win. After the ring was destroyed he entered the match and fought straight through, until he ended up with the victory. When Cell declared he didn't want the ring anymore, he pretty much negated any rule and regulation that regards.

Winner on paper: Satan.
Winner: Gohan.
Loser 2nd: Cell.
Loser 3rd: Goku.

You could argue that Cell broke the rules, and lost way early-on by receiving help from his kids, but that could also be argued as a fair, in-match technique. That's all considering that wasn't mentioned in the rule book. I doubt Goku or Gohan could have done something similar, without getting any lip from Cell.

If I recall correctly Cell said something along the lines of "Now the Earth is the ring", so he lost when Goku teleported him to King Kai's planet, out of bounds.

But Gohan received assistance from Goku, Vegeta, and 16 which should've been against the rules, meaning he's disqualified.

Hey, Cell was down for a ten count after Golu popped his head off. Technically Goku won.

Cell says the rules are:
-If you give up, fall out of the ring, or die, you lose.

He does say he'll fight them one at a time, but it wasn't included in the rules, so it's arguable if #16's involvement broke the "official" rules. It would only have disqualified #16 though, not Gohan.

So Goku won? -_-

They stalemated. Goku lost as well, as he set foot on Kaio's planet at the exact same time as Cell did. Nobody won, as the first two competitors got disqualified.

Easy to know they both stepped out at the same time.

But.. As I said... Cell lost way earlier than that.

I don't get it. Goku lost before that. He surrendered and gohan was the next competitor. And then goku steps in... So what does that mean?

The current match was Gohan vs Cell. Cell said he'd fight them one at a time. Goku was already out when he gave up, #16 disqualified himself when he entered the battle while Gohan was still fighting. Gohan never gave up, died, or went out of bounds, so he won.

I guess you could say Krillin, Yamcha, Tenshinhan and Vegeta won too. Cell's tournament wasn't orthodox at all. Cell allowed Goku to eat a Senzu during their match, so he just came up with the rules as he went along. Technically, there were 8 matches going on at once.
