Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach	Mental abilities, if Goku shown some form of mental power can this apply or mean that he has some form of defense against something like mindcrush?

He has been hypnotized before, hasn't he? As a kid, right? Even though that wasn't such impressive hypnosis and Goku might've developed that weakness through training.

Check this out: Look at what it says: Quote: "Visualize the flow of battle!! Training spiritual strength and courage through visualizing fights with various opponents!!" Perhaps these two stuff might answer your question.

Google Chrome	Vegeta sort of resisted Babidi's control. He resisted outright control, but he was still influenced by the magic and made heartless...But Babidi's magic didn't really show any good control. Dabra disobeyed him with no problems when he tried killing Boo. I don't think Babidi ever actually controlled anyone. Vegeta's resistance to mind control seems rather lame when you realize Babidi didn't even control Spopovitch or Yamu

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	Mental abilities and psychological warfare in general is rare in the DBZ universe and largely unexplored. If you ask me, it has a lot of potential since it pertains moreso to mental fortitude and strength of character than power level. I couldn't see Goku using offensive mental powers. Training his mind to better resist psychological attacks is one thing, but attacking people with his mind like Babidi does? It wouldn't fit his character. Come to think of it, have we ever seen things like psychological warfare/torture used besides with Babidi in DBZ?

As far as defense goes... we haven't really seen anything too impressive as lazer has pointed out. DBZ seems to be stuck in a more physical combat rules, all ya'll else suck mindset. That being said, the only one I can see out of the Z-Crew that would likely use mental attacks would probably be Piccolo, him or Dende.

But I highly doubt they'd be able to survive Mind Crush unless they witness the move (Without it being used on them) and come up with a counter/defence for it through meditative training, similar to the Mafuba. In fact, I could see such a saga having one of these outcomes (1) Gohan, Piccolo, and/or Vegeta have to work together to free the other Z fighters from their mental prisons (2) Goku would break out of the mental prison due to some bs SSJ power-up. The first scenario seems far more appealing.
	We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Yakon isn't exactly the number one candidate for intelligence and mental resistance. The dude it literally a step away from being a mindless beast.

I meant full control as in moving them like puppets. No, it was abundantly clear that each was in control of their bodies. Chapter: 449 (DBZ 255), P4.6 Context: talking about facing Vegeta alone. Pui-Pui: “Fuhihihihi…Lord Babidi told me to be careful since these guys have strong energy, but it looks like they’re just a bunch of morons…” If Babidi fully controlled them, he wouldn't have any need to tell Pui Pui anything
