I always laugh when I hear that tien was more useful in DBZ? I mean when? When he died against Nappa or when he was having vacation on king kai planet, while Kuririn were tangling with saiyans, alien mutants and alien prodigy with weird lips? Since the very begining of the Z it was shown that Kuririn>Tien in context of being useful and important to story.

But Toriyama wrote the manga so I guess that's not a reliable source either. There's literally nothing that points to Tien being stronger after the Saiyan saga, while everything from the manga, promotional info for new movies and interviews with Toriyama say Krillin is stronger. I also feel like Toriyama gets too much s* for not remembering every single line in the manga. Unlike us he doesn't constantly go back and re-read it, and doesn't research about specific topics in order to debate. It's hard to remember every single detail about something you wrote/drew over 20 years ago. Edited by Clearin**, Aug 1 2015, 12:19 AM.
