PC also has better graphics, more hard drive space, faster processors and you can Mod the heck out of whatever you're playing.

You can't have all of that with a Console unless you want to void your warranty.

PC is a better suit for more power and Mods. Console is a better suit if you like to pretty much plug and play and is more optimized.
All those PC advantages, most of the developers are not making use of the PC advantage. Besides one or two out there which are.

I'd love to smoke what crack you're on, even nowadays most graphic intensive Next-Gen console games sacrifice framerate in order to get games to look beautiful. While if you're on PC you can have both the prettiness and the frame-rate. This is true on almost every single Triple AAA release and many indie games.

A time will come when they won't have a choice, because the line between PC and Console is getting very thin and the next generation may even destroy that line...especially with the Xbox One, since you can now use the Xbox Interface on Windows.

I like these videos, he went on both sides of the board to keep things as even and fair as possible, but he hits the nail right on the head.

Which pc game?

the latest batman is crappy pc port.

ubisoft has a terrible record with pc ports, and not to mention watch dogs...how is that utizing pc power?

Witcher 3, you'll need an expensive graphics card like 770 or 780 ti or titan. and cpu that runs at 3.4ghz.

PS4 is like what like how much? A third of the cost and you can get good graphics.

Not many developers are taking advantage of the pc extra power.

But the argument was that Consoles are better, which clearly isn't the case...that's the point I'm getting across.

And again as I said earlier...a time will come when Developers won't have a choice to take advantage of the PC hardware, the line between Console and PS is getting thinner and thinner, and the next generation may very well destroy that line...especially since you can now use the Xbox One interface on Windows now.

I don't care what PC master race people say...

A library of console games will always look more impressive than PC games.

Plus, I feel it's not the same playing games on your PC whether it's emulators or stuff on Steam as it is on a system.

That's just me, though.

Not many developers are taking advantage of the pc extra power.

So you pick games that have a crappy port? Without even considering that the issues with it do eventually get patched (unless you're a WB game, in which case they don't f***ing care)

And you only listed what? Maybe 20 games at most that have s***ty optimization that are on Steam, PS4, and Live? Out of how many Triple A games on PC?

You don't need alot to outpower a PS4/Xbox One, I've seen builds ranging from $500-$700 that outperform them. And if you're going to do that, you may as well invest some more money to blow them completely out of the way. Besides, that Witcher 3 video you listed (while not being accurate because Youtube compresses the video itself) also shows PC having far more draw distance and far less pop-in. PC also has Witcher running at 60 fps, and if you have a rig that can't handle ultra, 1080p, 60 fps you have the option of lowering your graphical settings so you can hit that benchmark. But I feel that console gamers aren't used to having that choice, the only game I know of on next-gen consoles that give you that choice is the remake of the Last of Us.

Now, that being said. Do you want a list of Triple A games from the past three or so years that have the PC performing better? It's not that hard, you literally just have to look at whether or not the game is capable of running at 60 FPS as the console versions usually always have it capped at 30.

I like the console. Always have. But I like the PC as well. I just don't want to sink the money into it.

Not exactly a relevant argument anymore since you can build a far more powerful machine for a few hundred dollars more and save so much more on games and don't have to pay to use the online for it. Console gaming is ultimately more expensive.

I'll say one of the biggest drawbacks of gaming on a PC is most of the time the builder has to diagnose the problem and you're the technical support. However, with how advanced the BIOS is and how easy most parts are to remove, it's no where near as difficult as it used to be.

Now, I'll say one of the biggest drawbacks of Console gaming is the lack of programs and hardware. On Consoles the hardware isn't as powerful as a PC is, and you can't just switch out parts without voiding the warranty.

Now on to the positives...

PC: Superior hardware and more customizability and Mods.

Consoles: Practically plug and play, you have someone to call if the system fails and you don't have to diagnose the problem. Apps take the place of websites on PC's.

That's right off the top of my head, while trying to keep things even.

However, I do see Steam as the superior library on PC.

I feel that if most people knew that you can use your controller and hook your computer up to your T.V. via the same HDMI cord you use for your console, more people would be on board with PC Gaming.

I agree, and if they knew you don't have to pay to play online. You'd be surprised how many people don't know about both.

Now, I also know people who are intimidated when building a gaming PC. I suggest checking out this guy, he's 100% professional and he'll go off the assumption that you know nothing about a computer in any way, he explains everything and has a great attitude.

Seconded. That guy is great.
I love building PCs. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I can help you with almost any kind of PC you'd want to build.

Oh yeah, and what's so easy about his builds is pretty much all parts are that easy to put together...it's like adult legos.

I don't think so. According to my budget, my computer costs much more than my Xbox.
