Spoiler: click to toggle Okay, so there are a few things I want to bring up here. Firstly, the finger tap. We saw Beerus do this in BoG, and it had a different effect than Ki normally would. Seeing as it's the same motion here, and paired with the fact that we don't see any indication of a Ki blast, I believe that Beerus destroyed half of this planet with magic. Secondly, there's the precision. With a regular Ki blast, it'd be difficult to split the planet directly in two, which is what Beerus did. The user would either overshoot it or undershoot it, likely by a large margin. However, we see that Beerus had no such trouble here. Thirdly, we have the fact that the planet can actually exist after this. Considering that it's a planet, it has to have a core. As far as I know, any planet that loses half of itself, along with half of its core, would either explode or, at the very least, make the other half of the planet uninhabitable, due to the lack of atmosphere and other serious problems that would arise. Despite all of this, Beerus still leaves the other half of the planet there, meaning that it should be able to continue existing as it is without any huge change to habitability. If Beerus had destroyed half of the planet with a regular Ki blast, he would've just destroyed all of it, as he would've indirectly destroyed the half that he spared anyway. |

Are you referring to the same aura Beerus had in BoG when he got mad? The purple aura? It does makes sense though, Beerus having purple god aura. |
