Hey guys, so I am a big....MASSIVE Saiyan and Frieza Saga fan, after those two the series went down hill for me, so I was very very excited to see that they are bringing back Frieza for another go. But I have to say I was very disappointed.

For those that have seen or don't mind it being spoiled ---->

Well thanks for reading guys, this is my opinion you may disagree, and thats cool but for me the movie was a bust.

You make some good points, but I think its important to note that the fight with Freeza was long ago. They probably got past the huge fight with him mentally and emotionally because of this. But you would think they would have a least a bit of aggression instead of treating him as just another enemy.

That does make sense, still would of thought there would be even a little tension, they did like you said just see him as another enemy. It almost seem as though they did not put much effort into it, or maybe they was just done with it. But saying that why not just create a new enemy to fight so we can see how much Goku and Vegeta had progressed since Battle of the gods.

Still enjoyed the movie(some what! :w00t: )

But there was none of this in the movie, maybe you could argue that Vegeta was WAY stronger than he was back then with this power increase his arrogance also increased. But they could sense that Frieza had increased in power too. I know that Akira Toriyama is not a big fan of Vegeta (rumour?) but still where was the emotion, Vegeta finally has his chance to avenge his race and his honour against the beast that caused so much terror in his life.

A few things:
1. Toriyama does not dislike Vegeta, currently. At one point he didn't consider himself a fan, but as time went on, it's been made pretty clear that he has a soft spot for the guy.
2. Vegeta is over the death of the Saiyans and destruction of Planet Vegeta. Vegeta is an Earthling now. Yes Vegeta does say that he'd never work for someone who'd destroy Planet Vegeta in Resurrection F, but I figure that has less to do with the death of the Saiyans and more to do with the fact he crossed him at all.

I thought that this was just an insult to Frieza's character and Vegeta's. As a whole simply turning back time to end a movie is just so lazy.

While I agree this is some serious Deus Ex Machina, I certainly wouldn't agree this ending was damaging to Vegeta's or Freeza's characters. Vegeta has always been one to gloat and play with his food, and this shows with this ending. Freeza has always been arrogant and impatient, and this shows with this ending.

You could argue that Goku and Vegeta are both Saiyans and care little for emotion and talk, but they did in the saga so why not in the movie.

Because there wasn't a reason to be emotional in this film? Goku's dismay in the Freeza arc was a result of Freeza's vast superiority at the time. There wasn't much of a reason to worry in the Resurrection F, and when Goku was outclassed, he did express shock at Freeza's power. As for Vegeta, well, I pretty much already covered it.
