Just like the topic question asked, which timeline did Cell and Trunks come from?

Which is from the original gangster timeline?

If you say Cell, then why did Cell show it was Trunks that killed Frieza and Cold in his timeline?

Trunks is from the original timeline. The Trunks from Cell's timeline is the reason why Cell's timeline differentiates from the other timelines.

That made no sense.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

The Future Trunks that we recognize as the real "Future Trunks" (The one who kills Freeza) is from the original unaltered timeline. In this time line, Goku dies, the rest of the senshi die, and then Gohan trains Trunks and dies later on. Trunks then travels to the past and kills Freeza.

The Cell that we recognize as "Cell" (The one who hosts the Cell Games and his killed by Gohan) is from a third time line where Trunks is killed. In this time line, for an unknown reason why it changed from the original, Trunks and Bulma find a way to deactivate 17 and 18, and Trunks prepares to travel to the past. We're unsure of why he chooses to travel to the past a whole year prior to Freeza's arrival, but my best guess is that he was trying to kill Gero and the Androids prior to their appearance, thus creating a time line where the Androids never exist. However, Cell kills Trunks in this time line and steals the time machine, creating the events that later transpire to the Cell Games in the main time line.

There's a theory that the Trunks who we see kill Freeza is actually the one who dies against Cell after he returns to his own time, spawning the events of Cell traveling to the past and starting the Cell Games. But there's no evidence to this. In addition to this, the Trunks we see return to the main timeline had already met the senshi, and thus a different Trunks traveling to the past would've resulted in introductions all over again.
