Fair enough, I think that Dragon Ball Z: Atsumare! Gokū Wārudo is canon, then, as well as Movies 1-13, anime filler and all the endings of Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans.
By all means, consider those canon.
Oh, Dragon Ball Online too. Toriyama apparently worked on that quite a bit, apparently. Despite all of these pieces of media contradicting each other hugely, they're all canon.

If you want to discuss what is canon and what is not, make a new thread. Keep to topic.

What is your personal stance on Dragon Ball’s theatrical films, Sensei?
Akira Toriyama: I take the movies as “stories in a different dimension from the main story of the comic”. I’m entirely just an audience member for them.

It's Whiss be it canon or non-cannon. He is the strongest conceptualized Dragon Ball Z character to date.

Yup, a different dimension in their own continuity. They're 'canon' to that Universe, but they're not canon to the Universe that the Manga is set in.

The Last GT Fighter

And that's as close as we're getting to an agreement.

*Note* everytime some new s*** comes out, GT is then discarded as non-canon. Anyone remember when Dragon Ball Online was a thing? No? Because it wasn't. It was just a videogame, and its not a thing anymore. Super at least has some supporting media. So there's that.

Back to the ACTUAL topic. So we're pretty much putting the Gods and the Goku/Vegeta fusions at the top of the list eh?

I agree, but since it's not the only canon, the term canon shouldn't be used to refer to exclusively the manga.

To put an end to it, as far as I'm concerned it's canon if AT is involved and says it's part of the main timeline. BoG and FnF are part of the main timeline and Dragonball Super is a retelling of those movies. AT said GT was a nice "side story" so it's not canon. Same with movies.

Whis is canonically the strongest character, while SSJ4 Gogeta is the strongest non-canon character.

but isn't DB Super remaking Battle of Gods and Ressurection of F..so therefore its becoming anime canon (the 2 movies are that is)

The 13 movies are not necessarily not canon it's just that they "take place in a different dimension". So they don't really count in the main story

Battle of gods and resurrection f are intended to be part of the main story in the manga though and so is dragon ball super.

So the answer you are looking for OP is whis. He's the strongest unfused dragon ball character atm. Ssjgssj vegito would be the strongest fused

So FnF is the only ending for Super and BoG the beginning? I guess that means this block of time period is well before the world tournament and probably a few years gap even more seeing as Vegeta and Goku hadn't seen each other in years. How long was the gap again between Boo Saga and EOZ?

He considers him to be his mentor, so I'd say so. Really he knows he's not nearly as powerful as people in his universe think. He knows there are plenty stronger than him. Like Whis as an example.

is it still air to say he is still the second most powerful character (in universe 7) after Whis, as far as we know so far
