Do you think all the gods of destruction and assitant/martial arts teacher are family related? Beerus and Champa are brothers. Whis and female Whis are brothers and sisters. The other Gods are his parents, cousins and aunties and uncles. What do you think? Edited by Zoom, Jul 4 2015, 02:48 AM.

Makes sense. Kind of like the Greek gods of legend. Dragon Ball has always been inspired by mythplogy. So why stop now? |

Of course they're related! I knew like since Champ dude is a Birusu look a like, then odds are that they're related. Good topic yo. I like that thinking outside the box.

That would definitely be the case if we were talking about Naruto. At this point I think anything is believable. |

Would anyone be disappointed if this is the case? How would you want the other gods to be introduced? |

I wouldn't Champion dude is interesting, his designed is original and his personality is very well developed. The other gods can join whenever they see fit tbh.

I would be. When Toriyama told us about different Universes, it opened the door to so many different possibilities. The idea that all of the Gods of Destruction are related is just lazy and boring, imo. Next thing you know, the God of Destruction in Universe 12 is going to be Beerus' second cousin once removed. |

It's clear now, the manga version of super is coming one month at a time. What's the point of that if the anime is showing one every week? |

Some people enjoy reading Manga more than anime, and manga chapter releases means eventual volume releases, which ends up making them more money. |

But once a month? I doubt people's patience can last that long, while the anime is showing one every week. |

People who really want to read the manga will wait. We don't even know how much of Super the manga adaptation is going to cover; it might just be a more condensed version. |

I know A. Toriyama has supervision over the super anime, what about the manga itself since it's soley written by Toyotaro. Are you guys fine with another writing the manga without A. Toriyama? |

Yeah. Koyama sensei did a fine job of writing the movies on his own. Toriyama sensei did a little concept work and mild supervision, but he only got the original author credit. Arguably Maekawa sensei did a fine job writing GT. Again, Toriyama sensei got to work on some concept art and inspired a couple ideas, but his credit was again original author. So, Toriyama sensei doesn't need to write Dragon Ball anymore than Stan Lee or Bob Kane need to write Spider-Man or Batman. We have the series thanks to them, but the material stands on its own and has taken a life of its own as such. |
