Given the fact that Vegeta seemingly reverted back to his old character as soon as he was relevant power-wise, I'm not too sure. Toriyama had the perfect opportunity to expand on Vegeta's character even further in RoF and didn't, I'm not really optimistic.

You know, Vegeta said he would never fight again after the Cell Games, and yet, there he is in the Boo arc, training. Vegeta acknowledging he has a chance to surpass Kakarotto and becoming competitive isn't contradictory of the former, and so I certainly wouldn't assume he's just going to write Vegeta in the same manner from the start. I hope Toriyama changes that whole BS he did with Vegeta's rage boosts against Beerus. Considering he's never once been shown to get them in the series proper (and he's had more than enough reason to get pissed beyond his wife getting lightly tapped.) I mean here's an idea? Why not just show off his amazing endurance? You could show him trucking through Beerus' assault, proving his pride and determination to keep going even as his body is being beaten relentlessly. Boom! Done! There you go! You get this kickass Vegeta scene that fits perfectly with his character. Vegeta's rage scene is nothing more than just sucking up to the Vegeta fanboys and you all know it. It's a scene that has no point whatsoever, just to have this cool little scene with Vegeta and that's it. Even his whole Bingo shenanigans was there to establish that he could give up his pride. We established that in other Arcs but...whatever. He doesn't need to be given these sudden rage boosts especially if they aren't even relevant. I mean, Gohan's rage boosts were at least relevant to his character.
