 Sorry if this has already been talked about, but from my understanding of it...

DB Super is an adaption, or a retelling if you will, of the movies? At least, that's what I'm gathering and because of this the movies can be stapled as non-canon while the series could potentially be the canon we want.

Right?

 Super from what we're guessing is indeed going to retell Battle of Gods (Beerus is awake 6 months after Boo, Gohan is married at 16 according to episode 1, and Champs) and post Boo events. As this takes place before even Tarble. Lastly taking an educated guess. They're retelling Revival of F as well or may even ignore it. Plus so post Freeza return stuff.

Personally think it's weird to render the movies non canon as they brought life back to DB. Plus we're stuck in 10 year gap and going backwards.
