Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Uh...for the newer games? What a dumb thing to say. Not like I sold my PS3, still play my GameBoy Advance every now and then.

Oh no the resolution isn't high though! It can't possibly be enjoyable. It's only fin if you emulate them.

Nintendo sucks these days because they release underpowered machines and games for the same price as the others in apparently the same generation.
They cheat people out of money that's why they suck they shouldn't be selling a game that could run on a PS3 for the same price as one that could only run on PS4/X1 or above.

And yeah better hardware makes for a better experience, in your opinion.

Clearly not getting what I mean by experience.
SotC offers just as good an experience on the PS2 as the HD PS3 version. The fact that you obviously don't get what I mean shows how biased you are.
Also not saying consoles are superior in all regards or anything but they can be as fun as each other.

Anyway, opinions aside I wonder if any AAA devs will make PC exclusives? Like Ubisoft for instance making a PC exclusive AC title in an attempt to win over the PC fanbase? Can see that happening.
(It need not be said Ubisoft would fail at it)

That would be an interesting move for a publisher with the balls to take, if you could only get something madly hyped up like AC on PC in 4K + tons of marketing a lot of people would end up getting PC's just to play it.

These is no point in exclusives, it's pointless, it just hurts every other gamer, also AAA games, meaningless since there are plenty of smaller budget studios making amazing games. Look at how Minecraft took off, wasn't a AAA title, if you want to talk about exclusive games, the PC has the most by a landslide! :p

Look at publishers who made good games of the PC, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, great game and they get prised for it, Skyrim, same, Wolfenstine: New Order, again, the same. If a company makes a good game, PC gamers recognise this and they say to people "Hey, you should check this game out!" that is another sale, rather than a terrible port that limited effort went into.

Would you like a half finished console game? I'm guessing not, that's what the problem is, PC gamers get the short end of the stick from some companies who think they can save a bit of money doing it on the cheap.

No, it's fact, sorry to break it to you, a cheap hard drive compared to an expensive one will give you a worse experience, it's fact.

Not saying it would be a great idea just people might try it. Its not entirely wrong though plenty people buy X1's/PS4's just to play games like Bloodborne or Halo.

Timed exclusives are entirely pointless.

Can see Microsoft securing as many publishers as possible to make things exclusive to PC and Xbox, they certainly have the money to give it a go. If they're funding a game it should be fairly polished too.

And again, opinion. If you're experience is dominated by FPS, resolution and other hardware good for you. Not fact unless you also share that view(which not everybody does you might want to notice)
The gameplay, the story and the aesthetics are the experience graphics are just there they can enhance a games experience but sometimes there's not always a reason to notice them, unless that is what you look for in a game which you guessed it not everybody does.

I don't know if you are just ignorant when it comes to hardware or just ignoring the fact.

Better hard drive means faster read/write speed, SSDs are used to make gaming and boot experience nicer, though more expensive to make it for gaming since high capacity ones are more expensive. Either way, the read/write speed boosts loading times, save times and frames in some cases. This does provide a better experience, unless you love sitting at loading screens!

More memory, handy for performing multiple tasks, not so important on consoles I guess, but on PC this is handy, have you ever played two games at once? Perhaps while surfing the web? It's an interesting experience if you are good at multitasking, but more memory will also boost loading times.

Graphics, they improve the aesthetics, something you say are the experience (but then contradict?), consoles don't have pretty water and beautiful skies, well they look okay, but the PC can render them to look so much nicer and in some cases more realistic. Draw distance, another good thing graphics do, consoles have more limited draw distance, the greater the distance, the better the experience, especially for a game like GTA where it's better to see further ahead! Which brings me to a joke intermission.

Why did the console gamer cross the road?
To render the other side!

If you like audio, the PC can do that better, though I know very little when it comes to audio. CPU, yeah, faster CPU boosts all the load times and work too.

All in all, faster load times (I don't like load screens, not sure many people do), quicker saves (some console games only support checkpoints and not save files), nicer aesthetics because PC can render images a lot smoother. The ports of the GTA games to PC have all looked better than their console counterpart (with the exception of IV maybe? It was rushed.), obviously so, this to you is aesthetics and means the PC experience is better, in your own words.

Portal 2 was a great game for many reasons, one was the feature that allowed a Playstation player to play with a PC player, GTA V allowed for online characters to be transferred over to the PC, these things were great and show companies do care about the experience, these features boost experience too.

The PS4 does this kinda. You can run multiple applications at once. Doesn't effect the loading time on none of the apps. Pretty neat addition.

...you are totally missing the point.

A game running better doesn't mean its a better gaming experience. I'm not arguing which hardware is more powerful, of course any modern phone on the planet is more powerful than a GBA, stupidly so.
Doesn't make it more fun to play on a phone.

If someone is having tons of fun playing a PSX game who are you to say you're having more fun on your beastly rig playing a game that looks more real than real life?

That is your opinion and thus since not everyone shares it it simply can't be a fact, nobody is arguing which has better hardware here not sure if that's been misunderstood or what.

How would the PC community handle peasant console graphics in cross platform games? Cross platform as in X1, PS4 and PC play together? That would be awesome. Would he cool if a games company had the ambition to take on such a challenge and make it work.
Of course itt wouldn't work if people were miffed about their extra power not adding anything to the game but perhaps the faction war of it would entertain people enough.

It's annoying how in basically all ventures humankind needs to divide itself otherwise we could already have things like that...

Portal 2 was crossplatform play as I mentioned, the PC had PC graphics and the PS3 had PS3 graphics, because they are different installs, silly.

Also loading time does improve experience, unless you love loading screens, do you love loading screens?

...so?

Hardware goes obselete and games aren't produced for it outside of amateur work.
That's really irrelevant to this.

In fact that works against it because look how s*** games are lately even though they have higher baselines. The Order 1886 on PS4 looked amazing...hilariously s*** game though Terminator Salvation was more fun even.

And yeah with Portal but I mean like many games, FPS's, brawlers, MMO's etc etc platform faction wars would be epic. As well as puzzle games where each platform has it's own specific power/tool to complete puzzles with.

Maybe it could work against the platform wars? There'd be bad blood for sure but perhaps people would enjoy playing with others, maybe all Xbox users aren't dbags!(jest)

Would also shut people up a bit too.
"My platform is the greatest!"

Fast hardware and impressive graphics enhance a game, but they rarely make or break the experience. Generally, if the game was technically impressive or competent for its time, it holds up pretty well.

I love building PCs. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. I can help you with almost any kind of PC you'd want to build.

I disagree.

Uncharted 4 will make someone buy a PS4 over a Xbone or Halo 5 will make someone buy an xbone instead of PS4.

I don't like time exclusive i.e Tomb raider, Jaws of Hakkon DLC

Yeah that s*** needs to stop...I'm not going to buy an X1 just because they get Tomb Raider a couple of months earlier, how many people really are going to?

Of course some will but they were probably just waiting for a reason to buy the other thing anyway.

Minimal increase in sales doesn't overthrow the massive loss of respect for the publisher. Been uninterested in Tomb Raider since hearing they sold out to Microsoft.
