A Gekko takes on the Indominus. The Gekko's cannons and tongue are disabled for the fight, it can only charge and kick. This may be a stomp, but idk Bonus Round: The loser gets the help of a Raptor UG as backup |

The dino weapon vs the drone weapon, very fitting I think. I already like this as an idea. The Gecko is definitely more maneuverable, with large jumps and flexible legs. It could definitely attempt hit and run with the irex until it died of exhaustion. Interestingly, I'm not sure cuttlefish camo would be add effective as the octocamo. It seems to rely mostly on colours and texture but not thermal camo like Snake's suit. If I'm right, the i-rex actually can't hide and wait for the Gecko, as it will still detect Indominus. It's gonna have to go in aggressively, rather than wait. The irex is also inexperienced with combat and would poetically be confused by the gecko. That said it could poetically learn quick, but I'm not sure of it'll be quick enough. This is a bit of an assumption but I imagine the gecko is tougher than the Gyrosphere, at least it's "head." the armoured part of the gecko is at least as tough as the irex, as it needs 50. Cal machine guns to take it on. In addition it can also scrunch itself to enter places the irex needs to wreck before it can enter, and I believe it's more agile, having dodged an rpg shot before. While this is specifically gameplay, the legs seem to be able to regenerate if the wound is great enough to make the leg give out. While this might not be replacement, it can enter a low power state that seems deactivated, but they can awake if they a target gets near them, like Snake, and the irex is allot bigger. As for its legs, they have enough strength to kick over a transport truck full of rebels, and with agility to do a round house kick to knock anyone near it over. It can easily knock over or trip Indominus and then kill it with stomps and such, or charge the animal, or leap high up and just squash it (assuming irex even stays in one place long enough for that). All in all, I think this could easily be a stomp. Now the i-rex knows what it's like be Rexy. Though I could also be wrong and underestimating the irex, but I think I'm fairly spot on. The gecko has too many ways to attack and defend, the irex is fairly limited unless it can get a good hold on the legs and tear them off, which I don't see happening in most battles. Unless the raptor ug gets guns I don't see anything changing. Edited by Tinny, Jun 26 2015, 10:58 PM.

The I-Rex actually can cloak itself from thermal vision, that was part of the tree frog stuff. As for Gekko regen, it's possible that it's canon given that their legs are living tissues and as such can heal, but it may just be gameplay mechanics. I think you underestimate the Raptor UG though. It's not much smaller than the Gekko and it's knife kicking skills seem more competent than the Gekko's. It might not make enough difference though |

Oh yeah, if it can get assuming the weak spot without dying it can totally cripple it, but that's if, and we've already seen it's round house kicking. It also lacks real intelligence, and is pretty much restricted to pack animal mentality, but without the pack. Maybe it can play a part similar to blue, but the gecko can easily push it with enough force to send it flying, just look at it's jumps. As for the i-rex, fair enough, I guess it could attempt to hide until the gecko is near and try to sneak attack it. But it's pretty much only got one shot, if it fails to cripple it, it's gonna get kicked out of the arena. |
