 No. I just meant the card thing to be an extra thing on it's own. It wouldn't effect the game in any way at all, I would create a separate Magic style DBZ game and this would just be something for that card game...it would have nothing to do with the Console game.

Honestly I'd say to go to the classic way to get it. Card packs'n stuff.
New packs for new expansions.

Oh no I was getting on the track of an entirely different game.

Okay I misread, basically yeah, a free deck/code for a deck with the game could sound like a good idea.

 Here's an idea to keep going with the whole card thing...in game with Character Bio's the images are just like trading cards, and to look at the stats you could either have the card flip over, or have the back appear next to it showing all the stats, or make that a completely separate card entirely and on the back of that one have all the Characters feats. Then, on the back of the Character image card have an image of their greatest moment.

It gives that old school gaming feel, while being different.

They could possibly work, though personally I was thinking maybe you'd have one card representing your style, like say you have one guy playing a deck with Tao as a crane school representative, and on the other you have Krillin, and the cards you play are equipment, quests, techniques, arenas, possibly weapons to represent your characters and struggles against the other.

 Haha! I think we're thinking about two different style of games...I just realized that, you're talking about an actual card game as a full game and I'm talking about the Magic game as a side thing and the full game would be a full 3D game with using the trading card look for Character Bios.

 Yeah, and there's so many things you can add to it or even how you can present them. This is how I would do it. Yes Ace, it's that time again.

Name: Son Goku, Kakarrot.
Birth Place: Vegeta. Raised on Earth.
First Appearances: Dragon Ball Vol. 1 (Earthling) Dragon Ball Z Vol. 1 (Saiyan).
Current Attire: Orange Gi, Blue undershirt, Blue Wristbands, Blue belt with Blue Boots, Yellow trim with Red string.
Signature Attacks: Kamehameha, After Image, Kaioken.
Ultimate Attacks: Full Power Kamehameha, Genki Dama.
Transformations: Great Ape, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Great Ape, Super Saiyan 4, Saiyan God, Saiyan God Super Saiyan.

And to the right of this Card would have a standard image of Kakarrot, with on the back showing a picture of him at his greatest achievement. Then on the back of the Stats Card would have a Full Stats Card showing his strengths and weaknesses, height, weight and even age.

 The return of the dossiers!!! Now, Saber old friend, do we post stats? And what do we measure?

Strength (Melee Attack)
Speed
Stamina (hit points)
Endurance (Defense)
Ki (Energy Reserves/Recharge)
Firepower (Special Attacks)
Technique (Skill)
Special (Unique abilities, Ex: Regen & Healing Factors, transport moves, etc)
Intelligence (Bonus points for sanity)

I figure Goku would be 7 across the board, with 10+ for his skill level, but 4 for his intelligence or something of the like.

 Oh Yeah, I just reopened Pandora's Box!

Yeah, have stats on one side and who knows you might be able to get away with having his height, weight, age, strength and weaknesses on the same side.

Here we g again old friend. Right now I'm working on a complete Transformation, Power up/Boast and Potential unlock list. I've gotten pretty much all the Transformations down, so now I'm looking at the others...I'm going all the way back to Dragon Ball for those too. :D

I do intend on doing a complete clothing guide, and I'll also be listing the battle damaged and training worn (Same thing as battle damage, except the clothes were only damaged during Training) versions all the clothes.
