Basically my point is each transformation and power up need a drawback. nothing just comes with profit. as for show accurate mode, i wouldn't mind. But given the fact that even in the damn show everything is f***ed up, and even now, Battle of Gods, F n F and Super are completely f***ing everything up power wise... i don't see how it would work. Toriyama logic= f*** everything let's just write this down and have fans break their brains on my inconsistent BS. TOEI logic= average dumb fan who thinks Broly could beat Gogeta SSJ4.. How the hell would we go about it? unless we spend some time filling in the gaps.. and still try to make everything sound alright.. we probably aint getting nowhere Edited by Instant Transmission, Aug 18 2015, 04:18 PM.

I agree the Transformations need a drawback, but I wouldn't make Great Ape too slow...if any at all. Also, I would make Super Saiyan Ki draining and a physical strain on the body until the player Mastered it. Well, I should be saying *Manga Accurate* not show accurate, at least in the Manga things made more sense and logic wasn't thrown out the window every few minutes. I agree with the new stuff, it's garbage and contradicts so much too. That's why bringing it to the game would be good, because in this game it could be done right. You know, like a second chance for the newer material. |

Why not? The only difference is it wouldn't take no where near as long in the game as it does in the series. Like in the ROSAT how Kakarrot and Gohan did...their nine months could be shortened to about a month and in game playing time would of course be shorter than that, all you have to do is stay in Super Saiyan for as long as possible and train or spar if you have someone there with you. It pretty much has the exact same effect as it did in the series, just the amount of time is significantly shorter. Edited by Saberoph, Aug 18 2015, 04:50 PM.

Well, with the Mastery of SS it would start off basic like Kakarrot and Gohan was doing, then move up to various Ki training (firing consistent blasts without getting tired, blocking larger attacks with your Ki...stuff like that), then move up to straight up sparring and keep it at that until the end of the process of Mastering SS. It doesn't have to be exclusive to SS either, you could put that into Training with any character. I would also have Gravity Training, ranging from x5-40-450. Training in high Gravity would increase the users strength, speed, stamina and defense all around. Ki Training would increase Ki strength, counter Ki attacks This is how I would have each kind of Training and being in certain enviroments too. Gravity Training: Increasing: Strength, speed, stamina and physical defense/toughness. Ki Training: Increasing: Ki strength, counter Ki attacks, Ki increasing rate, Ki accuracy. Sparring: Increasing: Physical attack strength, attack defense, rate of Meelee attacks are thrown, Meelee accuracy. However, the increases wouldn't be insane, so you could Train all of these in a Gravity room, but you couldn't walk out overpowering everyone. Also, I would change how you become Ultimate...there needs to be more than just walking up to Elder Kaioshin and saying you want it, there needs to be a process and showing you are truly worthy of the power, and I would use this method. http://dbzf.co.uk/single/?p=8718163&t=8410520 |

my question is how would you train. i'll use tenkaichi 3 for reference again. you have game modes. you go to training mode. then you just fight and get stronger? to me something like this would be like Xenoverse having a ki attack that reaches the entire stage, has 100% hit rate, unblockable, 1 hit kill, takes no energy, unlimited use, spam-possible. It's like all you need to do is simply beat up someone in practice mode and now you're suddenly OP as s***. i just dont get how one would train in the game. In the series for example, someone like Vegeta just jumps in his spaceship, sets the gravity to whatever, then does stuff. i think in order to avoid confusion we should go step by step. 1. Name of the game. 2. Intro/Opening mini movie like every other game. 3. Main Menu ( if there is one, or maybe it will be Xenoverse like.. or some random s***. maybe Open world or whatever). 4. Game Modes. 5. How each Mode works. 6. Character select, a list of which characters should be ingame. no tenkaichi 161 characters button mash spamfest copy paste. 7. Movesets for each character. 8. What kind of attacks would we give everyone and what stuff will be unique. i think we should get organized about sharing ideas rather than each of us throwing wild cards |

Yeah, I should've been more specific... I wouldn't have it so where you could just beat someone up, I would have certain objectives that had to be completed in the most efficient/accurate way possible. The more efficient/accurate your of completing the objective, the more you get out of Training. Also, I would have it to where you could learn new moves in Training too, so you wouldn't be forced to grind in the story mode just to unlock everything. There would be multiple Training Modes of course. Gravity Training. Ki Training. Sparring. Elder Kai Training. Turtle Hermit. Crane. Kaioken Training. Super Saiyan Training. Yes, I would have all of those Modes and I would have Training modes for how to increase your power getting to each SS form and that's where I would have the Mastering SS Training outside of the Story Mode. I would also have it where you can save your Training progress to your main save file, or not if you wanted to. 1. I have no idea what to name the game lol. 2. I would have an opening cinematic showing off all the main Characters and Villains, staring from weakest to strongest and showing off all Transformations for all races. 3. I would have an open world interface with a drop menu when you press start. 4. Game Modes I would have in the Open World Interface but easy to find, it would be labeled on your map and hard to miss. Kind of like how you got to the Parallel Quests. 5. Each Mode would work almost like Xenoverse's Parallel Quests, but it would be a full screen menu showing the Modes and subcategories, you then select which one you want and the Mode loads. 6. How exactly do you mean? 7. I would have this with in two locations. 1. For viewing only with the Character Bio Cards. 2. The Character Customizations section. 8. I would allow all attacks to be available to Created Characters, this would also includes all Character Costumes too. |

well, i'm gonna make this mass txt draft of some ideas. i normally dislike Character creation because it pisses me off and i see nothing good about it. i'm all for original story line, what ifs and all that stuff, but i HATE CaC's SO MUCH. well then, since i have too much time on my hands, i guess ima go brainstorm with whatever brain i got lol |

there isn't much you can do with it. Lets say the game sells 1 million copies k? we have CaC like Xenoverse for example. how the hell are the melee combat mechanics supposed to be made different for ONE MILLION different Created characters? you'll have to code and animate it all beforehand, and you obviously don't have many options. they'll all have the same style of attacking more or less and maybe just look differently when it comes to skin, hair, eyes and stuff of the sort. You can NOT even in 900 years do something unique for CaC. the best way for "unique" is Virtual Reality. it's up to your ingame stats in the VR game and your imagination. i can visualize some really dope stuff for example |

You could have custom creation for everything...ki attacks, combos, fighting styles themselves. Make custom Super and Ultimate attacks too, if you want to deliver a sick 10 hit combo then launch let's say a Kamehameha after you could, depending on the size of the Kamehameha the attack would be a Super or Ultimate attack. Make it custom about how your created character moves when in combat and not, and a custom stance when stationary. To do this and it not being even more of a headache is to have a massive development team that's just focused on character creation, and that team would do a Valve and have Cabals and split ep into different teams focusing on different part of character creation. Character Creation can be fun, unique and truly custom, but developers and publishers just don't want to spend that kind of time and recourses on the concept. What would you consider a 100%? the perfect dragon ball game would HAVE to be Virtual Reality. basically like SAO, just Dragon Ball. pain sensors however should be higher than they are originally, when you're actually taking your heart out trying to not get hurt, everything is alot cooler. But the VR Dbz styled games would need like 10 games till they START to get it right lol.. once done properly, it's really up to how the players do it. there aren't any combo lists and stuff, just you doing stuff. I'll be honest...I could care less about a Virtual Reality DBZ Game, the idea seems too gimmicky to me. To me a perfect Dragon Ball Game is accurately portraying every Character as they should be, every Character in the whole franchise, and everything I've already said about Character Creation and what should be done. So basically this Thread lol. @Professor Gohan: I agree with you 100% if the developers can't put a 100% effort into it, then they shouldn't make the game at all...wow that would really cut down on the amount of DBZ games. |
