Posts: 1,995 Group: Member Member #10,673 Joined: January 4, 2014 Gender Male	They have basically revealed the pecking order. http://www.db-z.com/dragon-ball-super-nouveaux-visuels/ Herms translated Quote: Goku's introduced in Visual 1 as "our mightiest battle hero", then Visual 2 introduces Vegeta, Piccolo, and Kuririn as "super-reliable warriors of Earth", while Visual 3 introduces Goten/Trunks/Gohan/Videl/Chi Chi/Bulma/Boo/Satan as the "Dragon Family, tied together by strong bonds". Finally, Visual 4 introduces Beerus/Whis/Champa/? as "gods hiding secrets, and...who!?". The caption says everyone should already be familiar with Beerus and Whis, but then wonders who the characters across from them are. So Champa and ? are presumably the "who!?", making it sound like both Beerus and Whis are "gods hiding secrets" (I guess Whis counts as a god? Seems like different sources imply different things on this). So it seems like the same pecking order as Z and Revival of F. Cept Krillin took Gohan spot. Interesting. Though Visual 4 is probably the bad guys or neutral guys.

If they do, it means that the series will be continuing the viewpoint that power is best. If Krillin and Piccolo stay weak, they'll have to be more strategic and cunning instead of being all-out brawlers like Goku and Vegeta.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	It's moments like this that make me yearn to see DBZ (not the original DB) end the way it was supposed to at the Cell Games arc. From an up and coming hero with incredible latent strength to being another one of the guinea pigs slaughtered for demonstration purposes on how powerful the enemy is, and that's when he's actually trying to be proactive. Even his exclusive rage-induced frenzies were transferred over to Vegeta. Gohan really has fallen. I'm part of the group who is rooting for the non-Saiyans to find some upgrade or skill that would allow them to become combat relevant again, but ideally in a manner that seems plausible. How are Piccolo and Krillin supposed to compete after entire arcs and years have passed with the Saiyans widening the gap ever more? There's no logic to it. For that matter - why is it only Krillin who is being offered a role in the upcoming series? Tien has been constantly pushing himself succeed and was the only human warrior to remain active this whole time. He's just as dedicated to training as Goku and Vegeta are. Why not offer him some of this screentime? It would be nice to see Yamcha and Chiaotzu pulled from the netherworld of irrelevancy as well, and have their characters be developed so that they can mean something to the group, but I'm not oblivious to the impossibility of that creative decision.

Woah. While this means he's still going to be the strongest Earthling most likely, I hope Tenshinan and Yamcha also get some sort of significant power up. I don't know how the hell they'll have Krillen pass Gohan, but him cited with Vegeta and Piccolo seems to imply it somewhat. I'm very interested in seeing how this all plays out.
