I thought I'd get the ball rolling since the fixtures have been released.

This looks like it could be a very interesting season with the likes of Bournemouth and Watford competing in the Premier League.

For some reason we play like crap in tournaments. It's the same in the FA cup and Capital One as well. Premier League teams are always losing to lesser opposition.

Having said that, Arsenal and City look like they will do ok in Europe this season. I mean that win over Bayern was fantastic.

Yes, English teams always fail in Europe. Oh, except that time that time from 2005-2009 when an English team made the Champions League final every year, including an all-English final in 2008 (I'm not even gonna bother checking the semi-finalists, but we had quite a few of those too). No nation can dominate forever, it goes in cycles.

Great result for Liverpool today. Couple of lucky deflections, but overall we were the better team and deserved the win. The pressure continues to mount on Mourinho.

Could it happen? Could Chelsea get relegated?

Meh probably not.

They are playing like the Chelsea of the 90s from the looks of things, back then they weren't anything special, I only really know about the 90s and early 00s.

Yeah, they really do look extremely ordinary. You wonder how long Jose Mourinho will be able to survive on his name, because let's face it, if this was anybody else, he'd be fired already. Something needs to change.

They probably won't get relegated, but if they don't buck their ideas up fast, they're at risk of missing out on Champions League football. Good news for Liverpool though, makes it a little easier to get back into the top 4.

Do you think Leicester will qualify for Europa or even CL? I mean they are in third right now and looking decent. However these teams have a habit of losing form. Like if Vardy gets injured then they're f***ed.

No chance at top 4, that's for sure. Europa League, maybe, but I wouldn't bet on it (or even come close). Teams start well all the time. I haven't really got the motivation to check, but I'm sure that if you looked at the league table after 10 games for the last 10 seasons, there'd be at least 1 team like Leicester and West Ham each year (and West Ham did it last year, only to fall off, Southampton too, although they did get EL).

Like you said, teams like that usually have a thinner squad and are over-reliant on a small umber of players, so it's very hard for them to withstand injuries or dips in form and still keep their league position.

How much longer can they give Mourinho? Any other manager would have been sacked by now.

And how about Jamie Vardy almost matching Van Nistleroy's record? Fantastic. I love Leicester. Fingers crosses they keep this form up and win a place in Europe.

They won't get relegated. A team of that stature who aren't in financial troubles getting relegated is unheard of (at least, unheard of to me, correct me if I'm wrong). But yeah, Pel's right. Any other manager would be sacked by now.

Its not even the finances. They are still playing too well for a relegated team.

Blackburn and Newcastle are the two richest teams to have been relegated from what I can tell. Not on Chelsea's level of course.

That was a disappointing result, although Palace definitely played well enough to win the game. At 1-1 we should really have done more to put the game away, but oh well, Klopp had to lose some time.

Top of the league and five points clear of second place with 30 games to go. I think Plymouth have league 2 in the bag.

Early days yet, but it's looking promising. My grandad said before the season that the new manager we had was good (he's Scottish, so was familiar with him) and it looks like he was spot on.

Wow, Leicester are top of the league and we're just over a third of the way through the season. Big achievement for them. It remains to be seen whether they can keep it up, but hell, even a top 6/7 finish would be great for them.

Awesome result for Liverpool. We absolutely dismantled City in the first half (although I think their poor play had a bit to do with that). Reminded me of the near-title winning season where we would come out guns blazing in the first 20-30 minutes and rip teams apart. Hopefully it's a sign that the players are beginning to master Klopp's gameplan. Exciting times.
