I thought I'd get the ball rolling since the fixtures have been released.

This looks like it could be a very interesting season with the likes of Bournemouth and Watford competing in the Premier League.

Leicester took two seasons, Plymouth will do it in their first and win the Champion's League in their second. Hey, I did it on Fifa so it's obviously possible in real life.

Disappointing season because Arsenal couldn't win the title this year...But St Totteringham's Day did still come! 20 years under Arsene Wenger, not once has Tottenham finished ahead of Arsenal. Think about the giant gulf in quality between these two clubs. Arsenal is in a state of civil war between all the Wenger Out fans after finishing 2nd, once against ahead of Spurs. Meanwhile, Spud fans are joyous at getting CL football and having their manager sign a new contract.

For all that rambling, all i have to say is the Spuds are still trash!!

Any team that loses 5-1 to Newcastle has to be considered trash yes.

It really goes to show how much psychology impacts football. A team challenging for the title buckles under the psychological pressure in what should have been an easy run of games; a team in a relegation battle has their fate decided and ends up putting in the sort of performance that if they had done so 2/3/4 games ago, they may have survived.

United win the FA cup 2-1 after a mediocre performance against Crystal Palace.

Wow, really thought for a moment West Ham would miss out on European football just because United couldn't be bothered.
Luckily they turned it around.

Also, José Mourinho to Manchester United, good move or another disaster like Chelsea?

Definitely not a disaster like Chelsea. Mourinho won't have Roman Abramovitsj on his back, however not sure how good Mourinho will be long-term. We'll see.

How can it be a disaster if he hasn't even had his first day at the club yet? It's a good move, just have to see whether it pans out or not. The only thing I'd worry about is that he has a track record of jumping ship after 3 seasons and United probably need stability more than anything.

According to various sources, Mourinho is ready to settle down and lead a club for a longer period. Obviously we can't be sure this is true, but if it is I think Man Utd can get stability.

I'm sure he's said that going into other jobs, similar to the 'this is the job I've always dreamed about' spiel managers and players always say. But yeah, only time will tell. I think he'll have an immediate impact anyway, so even if it is a short spell, there'll most likely be a success or two.
