I thought I'd get the ball rolling since the fixtures have been released.

This looks like it could be a very interesting season with the likes of Bournemouth and Watford competing in the Premier League.

I was looking at the last four games both of them have and Tottenham have it much easier. They might very well sneak ahead of Leicester. That being said, Leicester only need five more points to win the league.

Manchester United should win the FA cup as long as they don't repeat what City did against Wigan.

Leicester have to win just two points to win the league but it's not going to be easy. I think they can at least beat Everton.

That couldn't have been true because they can still lose the title now, on goal difference, if they only win 2 points and Tottenham win all 9, and Tottenham had a game in hand when you wrote that. 3 points wins them the league now, or any dropped points for Tottenham combined with one draw for Leicester.

That draw against West Brom has to hurt for Spurs, especially at home. They were always an outside shot, waiting on Leicester to slip up, but with Vardy out for two games in a tough finish, that was always possible. Could still be happen, but highly, highly unlikely.

Yeah sorry, I added up wrong. They need three points not two. Either way, one more win will do it.

In any case Leicester will compete in the Champions League. Too bad we get a transfer period first, I'd love to see how current Leicester City stacks up against the other European champions.

The first 4 places, i.e. the Champions League contenders, seem to be known. Leicester, Spurs, Man City and Arsenal.

The battle for 5th place is going to be exciting. Man United has a 3 point lead on West Ham, but United still has to face Leicester. West Ham only has a 2 point lead in goal difference and they still have a match against each other.

Norwich just dropped below Sunderland but I don't think that's going to matter. Neither Norwich nor Sunderland will win any of their remaining matches and Newcastle still has to face Aston Villa. I think Newcastle will take 17th place with Norwich and Sunderland relegating.

Aside from Leicester City, which teams surprised you most in a positive way? Spurs? West Ham? Watford?
I think for me it's Bournemouth. I already had a suspicion they'd avoid relegation, but they're actually doing it quite comfortably. They still have the opportunity to rise to a mid-table position.

Good surprises:

West Ham - I thought they'd fall off after a good start, like they've done before, but they've managed to keep it up and have a very good shot at European football next year in the first season playing at the Olympic Stadium.

Tottenham - I never would have thought they'd be challenging for the title. Looks like they're gonna fall short, but even finishing 2nd is a surprise.

Watford & Bournemouth - Both teams have survived comfortably. It's getting more common for promoted teams to stay up now, but it's still surprising to see them stay up with relative ease.

Bad Surprises:

Chelsea - For obvious reasons. To go from champions to mid-table is a poor show.

Man City & Arsenal - When Spurs and Leicester are the two title challengers, something is amiss, so I'm surprised that neither of these teams won the title. Arsenal especially should be disappointed and Wenger's job should really be in question. If he can't win the league when City, United and Chelsea are all on down years, I don't think they'll ever win it under him.

Swansea - I thought they'd do better this year.

Has to be West Ham. Massive improvement under Vidic.

Bournemouth aren't doing that great. Still lower end of the table.

Swansea has been really disappointing.

Either way, even if they don't beat United or Chelsea, they will probably beat Everton who have been poor this season.

Leicester have won the league. Leicester City. Leicester. City. I think having them lead the way for so long has sort of softened the impact of it but now it's happened, you just have to sit and think about it. There has got to be very few upsets in sporting history that can match this achievement.

There's no precedent for this. It's fantastic. It was the only time I wanted Chelsea to win as well.
