I thought I'd get the ball rolling since the fixtures have been released.

This looks like it could be a very interesting season with the likes of Bournemouth and Watford competing in the Premier League.

Well it's going to be a bit more of a challenge after that defeat to Arsenal. Hopefully they only need to play s*** teams for the rest of the season.

Their next 5 games are Norwich, West Brom, Watford, Newcastle & Crystal Palace. All winnable games.

I'm a Canadian and I don't underatand any of this.

Which team should I cheer for.
Tough to say. It's your personal opinion :p

If you're British you can just cheer for the local team, if your foreign you'll have to look at which players you like, which coaches you like, which fan culture you like most, heck as a kid I just picked teams based on how cool their kit was.
Most foreign people pick a team from the classic top 5: Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Liverpool. You have to be an odd person like me to pick anyone outside of them.

Rashford's looking like an exciting player. 4 goals, 1 assist and man of the match in his first two games.

Manchester City win the Crapital One cup on penalties.

If you can call what Liverpool were doing 'penalties'. Terrible penalties. Even Can's one that he scored was awful, only looks good if it goes in, if the keeper guesses correctly you look like an idiot.

Anyone else getting annoyed how referees never enforce the rule about keepers staying on the line for penalties now? I remember a few years ago it wasn't uncommon to force penalties to be taken again if the keeper came off his line, now it never happens. Caballero blatantly moved off his line even on the run up to some of those penalties.

Good result for Liverpool, shame we couldn't do it on Sunday. Massive hit to City's title hopes. Doesn't rule them out entirely, but 10 points is a lot to make up, even with a game in hand. It definitely gives Leicester, Tottenham & Arsenal the upper hand in the title race. Heck, even 6 points is a fair lead with only 10 games left.

Is there any chance that due to some obscure bulls*** rule, Leicester won't be allowed to compete in the Champion's League? That would piss me off so much.

Nope, if you get top 4 you get champions league football. If you win the league you get seeded in Pot 1 too, meaning they'd avoid the other league winners being in their group. UEFA won't like it but there's nothing they could do to prevent it.

I'm sure I remember Tottenham getting f***ed over one time in favour of Chelsea.

Yeah but that was because the Champions League winners are automatically allowed to defend their title, so if they finish outside the top 4, they get the 4th spot. Leicester probably won't finish that low and I doubt anyone not in the top 4 will win the CL

The only way they get screwed out of it is if Leicester finish 4th and City finish outside the top 4, but win the Champions League. All three of those outcomes are unlikely, let alone all happening together.
