Saiyans, Namekians, humans, Kais and even Freeza were allowed to have relatives and similar looking members of their race, why not Beerus and Whis?

Now I just have no idea what is up with this, Heck it took me a good while to realize there were new characters here. Fair enough, Raditz is quite similar to SSJ3 Goku in a way. That said it definitely feels underwhelming for me. We could finally get an evil Goku. But of course a simple promotional image with two new characters in no context isn't much to go on.

Goku and Gohan have exactly the same face, so does Goten and so does Bardock. All of the Namekians look the same except for varying size and obesity. If it's revealed that there are more of Beerus' race then there's not much more you can do design wise than make them bigger, smaller, fatter or thinner. We don't know if these are the villains or side characters. Even if they are villains, they're likely just the first in a line of different antagonists.

I know laziness is prominent throughout the entire series and that I shouldn't really be surprised, but Toriyama should be putting some effort into creating new, unique characters like he did with Beerus and Whis in BoG. All we've seen of Super is a fat Beerus and a female Whis, and if they do end up being the counterpart of the Z-fighters' Universe, then the wasted potential is staggering.

Chrome, Edge Favourite Manga Wizard's Soul ~Holy War of Love~	I'm just gonna say, I don't like how similar these new movies and posters are looking to previous, SSJGSSJ is pretty much blue SSJ, SSJG is red Goku, and now we have Beelus, the fatter Beerus, it's beginning to feel like a trend than just a little thing. Hopefully though the designs will get to looking better later as we continue on.

DC and Marvel love all that alternate reality stuff and so do the fans, so why not DragonBall. Seeing an evil saiyan gang made up of Vegeta, Kakarotto, Nappa and Raditz interacting with the heroes would be awesome.

After all this is over, DBGT will actually be considered a more canon continuation to DBZ. Id have to agree with you there. GT had great concepts but the story line wasnt dragged out enough Sssj4 was a great concept, how they had to turn to great ape and using there tails again, ssj4 more of like a throwback to the saiyans more primitive ape genes becoming more dominate and giving them great power (comapred to ss GOD all they did was hold hands LOL and they became red auroria and now blue, thats so simple and lame ! the shadow dragon concept was great also, over using the dragon balls, and evil version of the eternal dragon , i f* wit dat somethings i didnt like thouhg, the black star dragon balls in general , like LOL we never knew they existed the whole time, they just sat in kami's lookout LOL! pan was super annoying Edited by Super-Namek**, Jun 15 2015, 11:14 PM.

Even if they are villains, they're likely just the first in a line of different antagonists. yeah but there family though, i was really hoping the gods of the other universe would be like completely different, and like each having his/her own traits and abilities or being of another race and having a different back story, instead looks like we are gonna have to follow a family of cats that will be fighting each other and arguing over pudding edit: im done juding or worrying about this new series for now, ill just wait til it comes out and watch it and enjoy it, then judge then entertain my self by talking about what i hated or liked about it Edited by Super-Namek, Jun 15 2015, 11:13 PM.
