Vegeta's resposnce was, he will never be loyal to the person that destroyed his home planet's, but in the background we find out that Beerus agreed to the destruction. We all Piccolo's hearing, he could he hear what was said between Vegeta and Cell and Beerus and Red Goku. Do you think Piccolo will inform Vegeta that Beerus ordered the hit on planet vegeta in the next BoG 3 or in Super?

Beerus is the God of destruction, hearing that he was planning to destroy a planet is about as predictable as a conversation can get about Beerus.

Vegeta hated Frieza because of his home planet being destroyed. I could see this being one the reason why the saiyans are going to be battling Beerus
