The newest episode is sick! I thought Kagami actually opened the second gate of the Zone after Aomine said that he's really sinking deep. Guess not. He was actually at his best performance in the Zone. Zone Akashi is better than Zone Kagami, it seems. Double Zone Kagami will solo Rakuzan entirely even with Zone Akashi on him I guess .

The Akashi Zone animation was so good, from him taking the ball from Kagami to scoring the basket was just brilliant visually. |

Although it's hard to imitate the feeling I got from reading the manga... the anime has done a pretty good job so far. I'm glad this series has been as successful as it seems to be. |

Yeah, Akashi's scene was brilliant. I'm looking forward the battle between the aces and the teams. |

So I have watched the last two episodes. They were beautiful, especially the latest one. Kagami and Kuroko defeated Akashi, and that beat up some sense into him. Mayuzumi's words did the last effect on him, and he's back to the ol' good Akashi that we all love .I was RIP when I saw the team getting the Wi-Fi Zone, but it turned out to not change them that drastically like the normal Zone. It still pushed Seirin until Kuroko's friend appeared! I loved their choice of using last arc's ending when he appeared. Then all of the generation of miracles cheered for Kagami and Kuroko except for Atsuchi, who's probably still loyal to Akashi. I don't like the idea of the true Zone. I love the good ol' solo Zone where the ace destroys the other team, but w/e. I'm looking forward to next episode. I heard there will be some kind of epilogue after the game which will be awesome. Can't wait for the sequel manga to be animated, although I think the studio will wait until it finishes. |

So the last episode was aired a couple days ago, and it was sure a blaaaaaast! The entire series was a blast in my opinion. Everything was done so well. The match ended on a good note, with Kuroko throwing the ball to the hoop and Kagami doing an alley-oop. I would have loved it if it was the phantom shot, but Kuroko doing a half and Kagami a half is good for me too. The epilogue was nice too, but we needed more Seirin, although it was fun. Everything was so well and I will miss this anime so bad <3 . I don't know when they will animate the sequel manga. I went ahead and read the manga. The three chapters (with the forth released in just over a week) were cool, although anime format is better for the series, it was still fun to read. Can't wait for the next chapter, and I hope the sequel manga picks up and become a long one too. |

I actually appreciate the series more as a manga for some reason, and this is coming from someone that originally watched the Anime. I feel like it does the facial expressions better and in this series that's a pretty big thing (considering like half of it is how the characters react to each other). It's also a very dialogue heavy series, so sometimes the big explanations drag out in the Anime but in the manga it flows better. Just my opinion. It'll take a couple of years for extra game to be animated, considering a chapter only comes out once every two months. Though it seems pretty fast paced so far so you never know. Might end up as a movie or OVA or something. |

Well, aside from the facial expressions, how the match flows is better with the anime for sure. The manga is no slouch, but obviously animated basketball is better overall. http://prntscr.com/7obf3r Doesn't Izuki's eyes becoming yellow here remind you of whenever Kirito gets an OP boost and his eyes become yellow? Izuki got a boost where he caught Leo off guard and passed a perfect pass to Hyuga (the same that Akashi gives). That was funny .
