Unless Freeza was speed talking, it should have taken about ten seconds to say his lines afterwards. Yet Goku only pops out of the water after Freeza's done talking. Why would Goku just hide in the water? He must have been unconscious or stunned too badly to move right away.

That said yeah, it's probably a good ten seconds.

Netscape Favourite Manga none	Cell skills and abilities in an equal powerlevel fight rivals that of Cell Games Goku and Gohan's skills and abilities. Although, out of the three Goku on an average has an edge over the other two because he adapts much better and faster to combat situations than the other two. But what gives Cell the advantage in an equal fight is not just his skills but also his impressive Endurance/stamina. In the dbz, excluding characters with magic ki,Cell has the best Endurance with only probably Cell games Goku rivaling it. Ultimately, In a fight your strength will directly be determined by your endurance/stamina. The lesser your endurance becomes the more exponentially your strength and power will fall. So, in an equal fight Cells strenght won't deplete so easily because of his impressive endurance which gives an advantage over his opponent, if his opponent doesn't have good endurance.
