Last Episodes of DBZ are still Canon I think; Talky things

So I saw a FB page posting the other day that the last episodes of DBZ were no longer canon. The post was so brazen that they made it into a meme. Mainly, they believed it so much they went out of their way to solidify it into a picture. It's not exactly the same as carving into stone but it's sort of an internet way of saying you believe your opinion is pure fact.

I disagree with this though. For two reasons.

In June 2014 Saikyo Jump (Post Battle of the Gods), Toriyama is in an interview talking about Uub. Now I know GT is officially no longer canon. Some people don't like that but Toriyama references it as a side story and Chris Sabat, among others in the industry, now refer to it as no longer canon. On that point, Toriyama generally avoids discussion on GT. If he is asked a GT specific question he responds. If he is asked something that has GT bits mixed with Z. He ignores the GT bits.

I think that he wouldn't talk about Uub in this particular interview, all on his own, if he didn't feel Uub was part of the story. Uub, in canon series, only appears at the end of Z and not prior. Additionally, Pan appears in Z but also exists in the recent movies, Battle of the Gods and Resurrection of F. These two facts lead me to believe that Toriyama intends on incorporating the end of Z into the main storyline with S.

Talking with others who feel the same, I've come to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to start S after the events of the final episode of Z as well. Though that may not happen either since Goku left to train Uub. I'm just primarily concerned with the amount of time they have left between Resurrection of F and the final episodes of Z.

Plus, that would cause Dragonball Super to take place inside of Dragonball Z and not to be a technical sequel to the series.

Anyways. What do you guys think? Any educated opinions on this topic? My mind is always open to be swayed if there is a solid point in an opposing view.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

BoG and all accompanying movies or series is an expansion of the canon, which means that it's the plot in BoG which can either be canon or not; not the other way around.

The manga is the true original source for all Dragon Ball plots, therefore all the events that take place in it are canon, and that can never change. Even if there are plotholes in the manga, or new material contradicts it, it's what the original canon is.

And there really isn't anything in the series that contradicts the events in BoG or RoF except for some time gap discrepancies.

...and the fact that Bulma's age is completely wrong in BoG.

Well, that and the fact Goku wants to be at his best after his expectation of Oob, and the after occuring expectation being met. Unless you think Post-Godku can be matched by an enraged Oob whom is just the reincarnation of Pure Boo and not Evil Boo.

Or I suppose you could try to twist Goku's statements to where he's not talking about himself and only Oob.
