I don't think games can just be compared willy nilly Like movies and TV shows I'm a very firm believer That games should be judged and compared in there own genre Shooters to shooters Like tv/movies comedy to comedy |

Yeah, how can you compare GTA 3 to Super Mario Galaxy? They're two completely different types of games. The only way you can compare games is to do so with similar games. Like, FIFA vs Pro Evolution Soccer, since both are football games. RPGs vs RPGs, FPS vs FPS, games of a similar nature. But even then, it's all subjective. People like different things. One person may think the storyline of a particular game is incredible, someone else might think it sucks. You could objectively compare graphics, but graphics hold differing importance to different gamers. Some people will consider older games the best, despite having inferior graphics. It's all subjective really. |

Well, you can compare several types of entertainment medias for actually being that, entertaining. Entertainment gives a movie, a show, a game or anything, the right to be called good, maybe even great. Fallout 3 VS Skyrim = Haven't played much of both, but the fantasy feel on Skyrim is great, and the same goes for how big the world of Elder Scrolls is. Halo VS CoD = Easy win for Halo. CoD is just a boring and clichéd FPS shooter. Halo at least has a good interesting plot. SMB3 VS OoT VS HL2 = Super Mario Bros 3 for me, but just because I'm a very big fan of the series. GTA3 VS SMG = Super Mario Galaxy. It's like Super Mario 64, but improved to cosmic levels, quite literally aswell. |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

Your list is still a bit all over the place man. Ocarina of time vs galaxy???? They're seperated by two generation consoles they aren't even the same genre! Ones a platformer game and the other is a fantasy adventure game. twilight princess vs galaxy would be much more appropriate. Gta v vs forza? What about gran turismo 6? Do you even game bro? lol! I consider Halo to be far superior to COD. Halo's plot is interesting, its characters are iconic, and its combat can be varied. |
| We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own. | |

tbf, it did say GT5 and not GTA5, so it is the same genre. You can't really compare OoT and Galaxy though, not really. Not GTA3 and HF2 either. 1. Half-Life 2 2. Fallout 3 3. Gran Turismo 5 4. Ocarina of Time, of these. 5. MW2. |

Fallout 3 is great but... It's basically oblivion with guns in my uphill. While certainly an improvement it didn't do quite as much as Skyrim I feel. Skyrim made the magic feel really good, and was definitely an elder scrolls game. Fallout 3... I hesitate to call fallout and I know some would take offense top grouping fallout 3 with the first two. Plus I enjoyed Skyrim more. Point to Skyrim my opinion. I assume you mean Halo CE with this next one. This one is easy. Combat Evolved arguably revolutionized the genre, kicked off a series that gave rise to mainstream machinima like red vs blue, created a universe beloved by fans for its own merits, and created a memorable cast of characters, with Master chief and Cortana being the unofficial mascots of Microsoft. CoD MW2 did none of that, closest thing to memorable characters it has is Price, and I think he was there in 3, if not that then in four, either way, MW2 has done nothing even close to comparable. The third one is... Strange. They're all great games that are considered to be the peaks of their respective genres, and on the whole I think accomplished similar accounts... That said, OoT was the first 3D Zelda game so I'll give it to that game for that. Though I enjoyed HL2 more. GTA3 vs SMG... Wat. I'm not sure what they have common. GTA 3 put xbox on the market and probably saved the machine. Galaxy I don't think had quite that effect. GTA 3 started off open world games as we know them with the cities and police and lack of consequences. Chances are a game that's open world can trace some if not a majority of its designs to GTA, or have tropes popularized by it. Mario gave a fresh spin on platforming not seem since Mario 64 itself, but unlike 64 it has not innovated to such a degree that everyone is doing it. Though it was messing with gravity and planets. Though I definitely had more fun with galaxy. |

They aren't even the same genre man. While Ocarina of Time does have some platforming elements, it's an adventure game. But I have an idea for a debate. Which of these classic SNES platformers is better, Super Mario World or Donkey Kong Country? |

Hmmm, DKC certainly looked better, like a genesis game really. And while Mario probably did more for the genre, DKC had more options. The beasts were pretty fun to use when you got them, the music as a while was better for DKC, and it lets you have three options to play. Singleplayer, competitive, and Cooperative. All in all, I believe DKC did more, and simply has more differences in kind. Also I enjoyed it more.

Half Life 2 got me through highschool lol. It was so easy to put on all the school computers (cough) and the gameplay was awesome. If it's rated as a top notch game it's because it is. I'd probably go with Skyrim over Fallout 3 too, I just prefer the series. Halo wins over CoD any day solely because of the first one IMO. Cod has never engaged me. |
