Korean and Black.

So... Black Asian
Do you fulfill any sterotypes? Do the black sterotypes overlap with the asian ones? (eg, big dong, great at math) or is it either or?
I have brownish skin. So most don't believe I'm mixed. However I do get a lot of "He's only smart cause he's a crooked eyes Asian".

My great great grandfather made the trip to Texas by boat from Czechoslovakia. Specifically to escape the Austrian Empire's rule.

That would make me a great percentage Czech, because my grandmother's family did the same. They all landed and settled in Texas.

I'm more Texan than most people. As on the other side of my family, i'm related to someone who died in the Alamo.
I come from a long line of farmers on both sides of the family. They have almost all owned property that they farmed on until the mid 20th century when farms became irrelevant.
And then, my father owns property in east Texas, to which i'll probably inherit. Continuing the tradition of owning property but not doing anything with it.

Doesn't that make you part-foreigner? Stop part-stealing our jobs. Maybe just show up for 7 hours instead of 8.

While I don't think the UK has quite the same boner over it that American does, establishing personal genealogy and family history is really interesting to me. For instance I've made educated guesses from what little scraps I know of my Dad's dad, who I know was an Irish immigrant, to place him to Northern Ireland and probably Dublin or there about, since he had a Scandinavian name and that part of Ireland had a huge cultural investment from Viking settlers. I do wish on occasion my family had taken more interest in it themselves.

My nan's cousin has looked into her family history, which contains some of mine through my great grandparents on my mum's side. From what I gather, my family on that side is UK-based, and were pretty much always poor (although I imagine many people's family histories include poverty of varying levels). I don't know about my dad's side of the family. I checked on the internet about my last name and it apparently has origins in Normandy, but I don't know how reliable that is. Plus, just because I have that last name, doesn't necessarily mean I share it's origins.

But yeah, I can definitely see the interest in family history, even if I don't share it myself. It amazes me that people can trace their family back hundreds of years (my ex-GF's dad traced his family back to around the 1500s I think). My family has a lot of complicated relationships, where there are people in my family I'm not blood-related to, but I consider them just as deserving of their familial title as if they were, and there's also some people who I'm blood related to, but found out later in life that they weren't the familial title that I was raised thinking they were, but still think of them as that role in my family, so blood doesn't really mean as much to me as it does to others.

I was born in Latveria before moving to the states. I've been doomed ever since. ;)
I can't believe I'm so far the only one who got this.

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.
