Chrome Favourite Manga Berserk	Yu Yu Hakusho. The first time I watched it I hated Kuwabara. But every time I've rewatched the series he's become more and more of my favorite character from the show. I don't think it would've translated as well to me in Japanese.

Shounen, seinin, shoujo all combined. None of the Eng Dubs come anywhere close to its Jap counterpart. They come across either horribly obnoxious or hilariously weak. Take Wrath/Bradly from FMAB. His Jap VA Hidekatsu Shibata was the same guy who voiced Yi Xing Long from GT & Hokage from "Nakamaboy" show. Still impresses with his work. His Eng VA however gave hilariously one-note & bland acting.

The sub for FMA:B is good too though.

I'm likely bias as I originally watched Yu Yu and DBZ in English and now cannot watch them in sub without wishing I was being beaten by a ball bat.

Maybe it's because I watched it in English first and grew up with it in English but the Japanese voices just do not suit most of the characters at all. Huge buff guys shouldn't sound like young girls, I don't even get what that's all about because it's not like buff Japanese men sound really girly so why did they opt for having such a high pitched character play Goku? Vegeta sounds alright, other than that only a handful seem okay to me. Also wtf is wrong with King Kai? His voice is insanely monotonous...it sounds like either he's really far away or that he's high every time he speaks... I think Naruto is better in English also but somehow Shippuden is better in Japenese. Not sure how, I guess perhaps I feel the English doesn't blend as well with the OST in Shippuden whereas it blends very well with the rock sort of tunes in Naruto.
