This turns out to be the uncontrollable power Vegeta spoke of early in DBZ (because why not). They get control of it and we're off to the races.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	Unless they introduce a completely new mechanic into the chi-based system of combat, then I can only imagine that they'd introduce new techniques to make things more creative. They could get creative with chi alone if they wanted to (DB/Z did this, albeit rarely – take the ghosts for instance), so there's potential there alongside magic and psychic powers.

Super 17 and Baby had a different fighting style as well(Baby with his possession and Super 17 with the absorption that hadn't been used by Gero all that much). And the Black Star Saga was just chock full of that. But DB was probably the one that used gimmicks the most

When I heard there would be new content this was my first thought to make the humans at least relevant as support, which is more than they have been for a long time. I really hope they learn something from Dende and then improve on it.
