I don't think we have one, so I figured I'd make one. Who here has played Grand Theft Auto? I have fond memories of playing GTA when I was younger. Games like Vice City and San Andreas. Never got too far into the plot back then. Just f***ed around with cheats mostly. In 2010 though I got a PSP with Liberty City Stories and that's the first GTA I beat and took somewhat seriously. Now I'm close to beating San Andreas (the mobile edition) as I just beat Toreno's "Home Coming" mission. Out of the two it's hard to pick a favourite. Both have very likeable characters and are really fun. I guess I'd say SA due to CJ, turf wars and places like Area 69. Though, I probably prefer Liberty City as a setting. Next game I'll play is either GTA III (bought that awhile ago for PS2 for like three bucks) or Vice City. The latter I'm betting I'll like the most. My fav character in the series is probably Niko or CJ. They're badass. Discuz |

My favorites are Vercetti and Claude (III). I've beaten every single game on PS2, so I'm definitely familiar with the stories. My favorite story is VC. Play LC and VC Stories as well. In order, story-wise, it goes: VCS - VC - SA - LCS - III. If you play 'em in order, you should get more enjoyment. Edited by Professor Gohan, May 8 2015, 06:50 PM.

Yeah. I played around a bit in III and it was cool to know that the map was really similar to LCS. I knew where to go and where to find things. That seems to be the consensus. VC for story/missions, SA for gameplay. Though, I know some people who praise GTA V as the best PURELY due to graphics. |

Yeah VC for story SA for gameplay. I never actually completed SA because f***ing around was enough fun to keep it interesting for years. Vice City just had some great characters, soundtrack was epic too. Cheats were a ton of fun too. Races with the flying cheat on especially I find GTA V the most disappointing, much preferred 4. Might look pretty but well, doesn't stop VC topping my list, graphics are hardly a concern when it comes to the no holds barred chaos that GTA is supposed to be. Finished the main story of San Andreas yesterday. Took 41 hours it says. It was so satisfying Spoiler: click to toggle it was like, the best possible ending imo, and I still have a lot to do (take over Los Santos completely is my highest priority).I kinda wish Rockstar brings Vice City to the HD universe. That'd be epic. |
