So, I've been doing some research and keep getting mixed information on what the Dragon Balls can or can't do. I've read that they can't bring back anyone who's been dead for a over a year or died of natural causes. Res. of F I am also aware that the Dragon Balls can't be used kill people (outside of bludgeoning them with said balls). What other limitations are there? I've yet to find a reliable source on this and there's nothing solid on the Wiki sites (outside of fan made sites for their own fan fiction or role play. Which don't count). Send help pl0x. |

Actually, it's not made entirely clear whether Shenron can kill or not. Chiaotzu back in Dragonball almost successfully called out a wish for King Piccolo to die, and there was nothing that contradicted its effectiveness had the sentence been finished. Two notable weaknesses that were brought up were that a person who has already been resurrected is unable to be brought back and that the cyborg siblings couldn't be transformed into full humans. The Namekian Dragonballs were all around the superior set. Shenron's only advantage was his ability to resurrect multiple people at a time, but that was amended when Moori upgraded Namek's to be capable of fulfilling the same wish. Porunga can grant the same wishes any number of times you want, the waiting period is shorter, and you get three instead of two. The only drawbacks remaining are finding some way to get to Namek and using an interpreter who speaks the indigenous language of its creators. |

The one year limitation only applied to the wish that brought back everyone killed by Freeza and his men. |

Huh. That's odd that it only applies to mass life renewing wishes rather than individual. Didn't think it would make a difference. |
