So according to this it probably takes place after RF?

I hope this means we see stuff from the other 11 universes
Yeah, that's what I'm gathering from that tidbit as well.

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

Not having high hopes for this. GT was a mess, and I have a feeling that this series will be. It's simply a substitution.

Of course, it would depend on Toriyama's involvement in the series as well.

You can't compare this to GT. Not only was toriyama sick of dragon ball at the time, he was barely involved at all.

This is actually written by toriyama and right now he's excited about making dragon ball

I'm not trying to get my hopes up really high but I am looking forward to it

Personally... I'm ecstatic at the idea... but pessimistic at the result.

The recent Dragon Ball productions haven't been heading in a direction I can appreciate.

I can only hope that I might enjoy this. BRING ON JULY!

The recent Dragon Ball productions are more inside Toriyama's comfort zone, which is light-hearted gag comedy. Long gone seem to be the days where we'll get serious villains like Freeza and Cell.

Resurrection f seems much less light hearted gag comedy than battle of gods was. It seems much darker and action packed

I'm not sure how to take this news. I was kinda hoping they'd stop further dragon Ball after the new freeza flick. But I guess it's getting too popular. Money hungry bastards.

I'll go in with an open mind. Hope its good :) looking forward to seeing how they go about it.

I don't care what anyone says, I'm still going to love GT

Toriyama seems to have written it, so I'd say he's pretty involved.

I'm not sure if I would agree.

They've actually seemed quite forced. Almost cynical... especially after reading something like Jaco... which felt far more naturally written.

They give me the feeling of an author attempting to imitate himself... which is understandable considering what he's attempting to do... but I can only hope he's settled back into a more comfortable mindset for this new series.
