Sorry double post. - A senior citizen home/nursery home/ house was burnt down - 4 houses on fire - City Hall shut down - Over 3000 police and expected 400 troops(Changed to 5000 troops) - The mayor was 5 hour late in addressing the situation Edited by QueenTD, Apr 28 2015, 01:36 AM.

This whole thing is stupid. Cops are going to be more on edge now than ever and people are just going to get more mad at all the incidents. If the whole country hates you just because you're a cop you bet you're gonna have an itchy trigger finger. I thought a couple of cops had been killed? Anyway yeah these people need put in their place, troops need to shoot them. This isn't a protest about anything this is just chaos with no purpose other than that. The law needs to reaffirm that it is the law. Destroying churches, what the hell is that. Did the church help kill Freddie? This won't achieve anything good. |

A revolution could very well happen. Idk when but it seems like this anti-police attitude has gone through the roofs across the nation. If the demonstrations in Baltimore manage to do some actual real damage to the establishment it could very well inspire other communities. People are fed up. |

Of being ignorant, mindless sheep. This is the fault of the media. This s*** needs addressed the media just makes all issues worse everyone just reads whatever s*** they put out and goes along with it it's they who have incubated this hatred of police because they only report the bad things officers do even though the vast majority of them do their job fine. The media makes only the 1% or less of a***** stand out so everyone with only half a brain just thinks they're all a*****. Turns out a lot of people have half a brain. |

The media wants us to hate each other. I'm convinced There was 2 peaceful protest but you wouldn't know. Only black violence and racist white cops according to media. Why? Do they want a corrupt society? It's just sad being so close to Baltimore |

Yeah it's ridiculous, it shouldn't be legal for them to build up hate like that. Especially not after this. Properly informed or not people are going to take action doesn't matter if what they're fighting for is completely stupid they'll do it anyway because they're told that's how the world works. The media incites a further racial divide and these riots are just going to increase that. It's sad because the ethnic minority community will get huge backlash from this even though most are probably at home with locked doors hoping the others just stop it, they're innocent but these rioters are just waving a "our races our criminals, respect us!" flag. EDIT police brutality isn't a thing. How many cops are in the US? How many of them are human beings? Are they expected to be perfect? Police brutality is a "thing" because people take a small amount of cases and act like every cop in the country acts the same way which just obviously is not true. If people don't want cops being rough on them maybe they should...not be criminals? If a cop tells you to stop you do it. The media makes it sound like the police shouldn't be in control, like running away from them and not doing what they tell you is a smart thing to do. Edited by Steve, Apr 28 2015, 02:54 AM.

And what else would rioters do? By definition, rioters are people who are disturbing the peace and causing trouble. I am aware of the people who are acting sensible, but the rioters certainly do not help the situation. |

The media does not show the peaceful protests or when the rioters were provoked by baseball fans calling them the N word. At the end of the day, if cops are allowed to create horrible actions it's going to push people to the point of fighting back. Only so many cheeks you have to turn. It's the power of the people. The police are actually retreating. To most people it looks horrible, but what did we expect? Stuff like this has been happening for decades. |
