I have a question for you I recently reinstalled the game, I patched it to 1.1 already. But I thought I might install the 1.2 patch so the shield bug shall be fixed. When I tried to install it, it said no version of Medieval 2 total war has been installed on my pc. I tried the infamous unpacker. It did unpack the files, animations and a lot of stuff. It took about half an hour to finish it. After that I launched the game. It keeps saying it is still1.1 but how? I mean I updated a tons of files, how can it still be 1.1 Any suggestion? What did I do wrong with the unpacking process? |

Why are you not just using the Steam version? |
