Ginyu's body-switcher technique; Questions

-Is Ginyu's "current" body during the Ginyu Arc in Namek Ginyu's real and original body?
-Has he ever used it in order to make their opponents weaker, rather than just change and keep those "superior" bodies?
-Is Ginyu considered more dangerous and powerful than the other ones simply because he can switch bodies?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

1. It's unknown. There's not really much information to go on concerning Ginyu's prior usage of the Body Switch technique aside from Jeice being familiar with it. But who knows how he learned the truth. Maybe Ginyu told him about his powerful trump card at some point while they were off conquering planets for Frieza. You'd have to be pretty callous to discard your own body like that without a single ounce of grief or concern given since you're pretty much taking on the physical identity of another person.

2. You mean inflicting the damage caused to his body to Goku after switching then returning to his own? No, that's never been performed in the canon timeline, at least not intentionally. Vegeta damaged Goku's body pretty badly before Ginyu accidentally switched back to his original form. Even though he was damaged, Ginyu was in a better way compared to Goku who couldn't even get up. It sounds like a clever tactic, provided you manage to change back successfully.

3. What makes Ginyu dangerous is his match altering ability on top of having the strongest power level in the Ginyu Force. Still, I think if Guldo had been written to act as a competent warrior instead of a bumbling buffoon, he might have been just as dangerous too. Having a technique that can stop the fabric of time itself is incredibly overpowered. Just give him Buu's stamina, the Kienzan, Stone Spit, or some other technique that seems to bypass power levels and you would have one very lethal character.

1) I always assumed Ginyu had his original body. I have no real proof for this, other than the way he general speaks. Ginyu refers to himself and the others as mutans to explain their abnormally high power level. Really, the dialogue can be picked apart to go both ways, so it doesn't set anything in stone, but this was the most strait forward way for me.

2) Sure, makes sense to me. Especially if Ginyu would prefer his original body. Maybe one time he had to change bodies with a green slime monster shaped like a Jello mold and switched back as soon as possible.

3) I am curious as to the limitations of the technique. Freeza showed not the slightest fear of betrayal from Ginyu. It's possible he didn't know, but then why wouldn't Ginyu take over Freeza's body? If the attack works like other ki moves, then the attack speed is limited to battle power. So even if he tried, it would be too slow and Freeza may easily dodge. It would be more dangerous than a regular blast, but still largely ineffective against uber powerfull opponents who know about it.
