My Dear Melancholy,

I have recently watched this video. From this video I found a website called Creepshots. A very... creepy website. I will not link the website as I found it..quite disturbing and it has some.. very non PG images. The website is just as said a creep shot. Someone takes pictures of girls (haven't seen males yet) in a creepy manner.

The website is 100% legal and the websites makes money from donations, which I'm sure it's a lot. However to get full access to every picture you pay 3.99 American dollars. There's even a Jailbait section (0-17) that you can look at. People defend this by saying if you're out on public dressed like that you shouldn't care that somehow without your consent a dirty picture of you is on this website. I admit that some people can walk with their breast out, butt out(Can that be helped if you have a big butt), or exposed but looking through these pictures. A lot of these are average clothing. I see a lot of butt pictures where the girl butt is just big. She can't help that (she's wearing regular pants). I see other regular clothing wear the girl's "attributes" can't be helped. Of course some are..letting out themselves but it's quite disturbing how this is legal (even underage pics). Honestly kinda made me nervous being outside around..noticeably creepy people as I have some attributes myself. Imagine going to the pool or beach.. Bikinis everywhere....

Here's some questions
- Opinions?
- Should this be legal?
- How and Why is this legal
- Without the consent of the person.. what makes this okay?
- Why are people defending this?
- Should Jailbait section be legal?
- If the photography work is so good why can't they film something else?
- How many people you think pay 3.99 and donate?
- Should this be a police scan to find sex offenders? Especially the jail bait section.

Honestly, take your pictures if you have to, but don't put them out there for everyone else to enjoy. That's not your call.

I think that it's legal so long as you don't show faces. If somebody can be identified then it is voyeurism which I believe is illegal. The jail bait section is really disgusting but since it isn't pornographic then there's probably no crime being committed.

I'm not sure entirely how I feel about this besides obviously being disgusted by any implication that under age people are being ogled by a bunch of perverts.

We all have our kinks. Some people love feet, some like whips and chains. The people who enjoy this like to watch candid footage of strangers. The worst thing is the lack of consent to being filmed. But apart from that I can't see the harm.

You can't scan for sex offenders because not everyone viewing the site will be one. It might be viewed by accident, it might be a sick prank on someone else's computer or it might be for research or curiosity. But really the worst happening here are privacy violations.

My Dear Melancholy,

@Peledor Actually a lot of the pictures you can indeed see the face quite easily. Even Stevie Wonder eyes can see the faces. Not all pictures but a good portion.

Keep in mind that some of these pictures are non PG(Tits are out in a locker room etc). I honestly don't see how this is legal (understanding it's the internet).

@BuuBerries
I love your name :) . Yeah that's bad too...

Oh well in that case there's probably good grounds to have this s*** taken down. Problem is someone would just go start up another one.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I'm not going to defend this, creepshots is a fitting name for sure and the jailbait thing is disgusting.

But I'm not going to defend people who go out dressed like a porn star and complain when people look at them either. If you're wearing such obviously attention gathering(possibly seeking) clothes...you're uh...gonna get attention.

In this digital age you can't really expect not to have photo's taken of you.

I mean...I don't remember consenting to Google Street view but my photo is on there a few times, albeit blurry and from the back mostly but I still didn't agree.

So I guess basically in my opinion none of the parties involved are right.
The people who post on this site are certainly more vulgar and disgusting than the people who get their photo's taken but if they're making no effort to cover up they're only tempting people.

As for jailbait.
I guess since you can't prove they are children they can't be charged for it? Just because she's short and looks young doesn't mean she is underage, if they can't find out who she is the law can't rightly do anything. There are plenty of adult women who look like teenagers and vice versa.

However.
Taking a photo of someone you find sexually attractive, you assume is a child and uploading it is f***ing disgusting. Paedophiles can't help what they are but they make the choice on whether or not they cross the line, this I would say is balancing on it.

My Dear Melancholy,

As said. Not everyone were in "porn star" outfit. Instead they were either at a beach or just can't help it. Such as a nice butt. Just regular clothing for some. Some even in a non sexy..position.

On the jailbait. It's kinda easy to tell they're 0-17. Because from what I've seen. Which disgusted me. Was girls in private Catholic school uniform, In Class (could be collage I guess), girls locker room (could be gym), on a yellow school bus, or its a little girl.

It's not the fact it's a picture taken.. well it is. But it's the fact that there's a legal website for it that uploads this stuff. Even with 0-17. From what I'm understanding. It's probably because of stuff like Instagram where people already upload naughty pictures but at least it's them taking it.

I have...revealing clothing just like most people. I don't want people taking pics and uploading them because they're creeps and find enjoyment and pleasure from it.
You can't expect people to cover up 100% every time they dress.

You can't expect people not to look when they don't :p

What's really so different from it an uploading photo's on Facebook etc?
If you go through Facebook you can find photo's of peoples families, children at the beach and such and that's totally fine. But there are definitely creeps out there who get off on looking at them.

It's slightly different because the families are taking the photo's but however innocent the photo's themselves are people can have not so innocent thoughts about them.

So should every photo on Facebook featuring people just be taken down, since anyone could fap to it?

It's kind of impossible to determine whether or not a photo like that should be legal or not and with nudity, well if the site has no policies against it it's not breaking it's own rules and it's not breaking any rules of the internet so not much can be done unless people take out lawsuits I guess.

As the saying goes a picture says a thousand words.
Picture of a nice sunny beach with crystal clear water, also a hot blonde with a nice a*** in the bottom corner, some kids playing in the water, a plane in the distant sky and a dude sunbathing.
No way to tell which of those the photographer enjoys most or which of those any viewer will enjoy most regardless of how innocent or disgusting their reasons may be.

It's innocence or lack of it is in the eye of the beholder.

My Dear Melancholy,

Actually most like when they look. Complainng are either hiding it(playing hard to get) or..honestly in denial. The majority actually like it as they feel pretty or if male handsome. So can we cut that argument out? It's not even true. There's a BIG difference between looking, taking pics, and taking pic then uploading it.

Yes I know Facebook and IG have pictures. But those are taken by the user not some stranger. Those are mostly consented photos. And you can report a photo stolen if you can prove it. Big difference there. It's not slightly.
If I go out and take a picture of someone in a shower (a see through shower). Post it online. It's not that much different than him taking a picture of himself.

Have you seen the website? There's no kids playing in beaches. It's more of zoomed in high quality pictures of a girl's butt, tits, or vagina. Something tells me you haven't seen the website as you're 100% off.

If I go out. I can expect looks maybe. Maybe some naughty thoughts or words. Some if they're creepy or dirty enough might get a picture. I don't expect an unintentionally dirty picture of me to go on a website without permission from myself and categorized. 3.99 plus donation.

There's no defending this honestly. I can't think of one positive thing to say.

Facebook/IG: User upload a picture.
Creepy: Without consent some creepy person takes a picture that's no one knows is being taken of a girl that happen to show some skin. As in SOME cases she's not being revealing at all. Some are 0-17.

I don't see how this is defended... A teacher took a picture of students.. and put it on here. That's totally the same as uploading pictures on IG(Yes I being sarcastic for once).
